Yes I know of CP5
Don’t reply if you don’t know your shyt bruh. Kamala HAS ACTUALLY HAD nikkaS LOCKED UP ON FALSE EVIDENCE. She actively wants to fuel the prison industrial complex and is very pro cop. She would’ve been one of those prosecutors who rail roared those men
I know all of the downsides of trump, he appoints people from old fascist organizations and societies and those people want to etch away at our civil rights
Police state quasi caste system nazi or racist imcopotent Neo nazi moron?
He didn’t thoThe difference is Trump had never been in a position of authority to fukk over black men like that.
You think if he was educated enough to be a DA somewhere, he WOULDN'T fukk over black people? That he wouldn't be pro cop and pro private prisons and all the rest?
Again, in this specific hypothetical, it's not even close who's better and whose worse.
You can keep repeating the same thing over and over, but that doesn't address my point. It's just as dumb as not voting for Clinton because she said "super predators" in the 90's. These people are not the same.
because that's the same thing as not voting. A third party candidate has never won an election and never will unless they get campaign funding on par with democrats and republicans. Why is not voting my last option? Why can't I vote 3rd party or write somebody in? Some of y'all sound ignorant
-Trump
-Harris
-3rd Party
-Write in
-Not voting
I'll take it a step further. Name me any candidate for house, senate or the presidency (that has had a genuine chance of winning), that would qualify as a genuine friend of Black people. Tell me: 1) how they have improved things for Black people 2) policies that they enacted or supported that had a realistic chance of winning. There is a fundamental misunderstanding about how politics works. Black people are the most politically immature people on earth. Politicians don't lead they follow. You rally support to your cause and eventually politicians will act. Any major legislation that has been enacted in this country for Black people has happened because of a prolonged campaign to insert the issue into the societal conversation. Was Abraham Lincoln a friend of Black people? He said that he'd be happy to keep all the slaves in bondage if it meant preserving the union. Was JFK a friend to Black people? He had to be literally forced by the Civil Rights movement to call desegregation a moral issue. Was LBJ a friend to black people? He had to be forced by the Selma march to enact voting rights. You don't vote for friends. You vote for people who can understand and empathize with your cause and then create a movement and force politicians to act.
People in here wondering why Obama didn't do more. It was because deep down the average Black person was satisfied with him being the first Black president. People wonder why the Democratic Party doesn't do more. It's because the average Black person is apathetic. You find a charismatic leader that eloquently and passionately make the case for prison reform. You get some people to go out and start marching and organizing for it. And watch how quickly the Democratic Party will follow our lead.
The problem with the Black Militants is that they believe that the fight for Black equality can only move forward. So either we find a candidate that is good for us, or we don't care. Thing is fundamentally flawed. Things can get worse. Before the last presidential election I was told on the coli that Trump will serve as a wake-up call for Black people. I was told that it was better for Trump to win, so Black people will understand that the country doesn't like them. So here we are. Racism on the rise. Racists feel emboldened. And Black militants still repeating the same lies and sticking their head in the sand. "How are things worse they say." So much ignorance. No point in even arguing with them. Just thankful that they don't represent the average Black person. I'm voting for any democratic nominee over Trump.
The U.S. wasn’t always a two-party democracy. There was once a Progressive Party. Look into FDR. Having two parties, less options, is never good then you (the buyer) lose leverage.because that's the same thing as not voting. A third party candidate has never won an election and never will unless they get campaign funding on par with democrats and republicans.
you are correct. my point stands however. The U.S. wasn’t always a two-party democracy. There was once a Progressive Party. Look into FDR. Having two parties, less options, is never good then you (the buyer) lose leverage.
What has truly been so bad about his presidency to you, personally? So basically by the consensus in this thread, if Kamala was the democratic candidate people are going to write in a third party candidate or not vote at all, which means Trump again.
I’m torn. I’ve skimmed through a few Kamala threads and get why there’s opposition. Her policies and record in the past have been problematic, she is fake, pandering, has no real ties to blacks, so no vested interest in us. But seems to have vested interest in gays for instance. And truthfully had Obama had a white wife I wouldnt have voted for him. I know that’s not the only reason people are refusing to vote for her, but I know it’s one of the reasons.
But are we saying that a racist, stupid, crazy—only care about the wealthy—Trump is still a better option for us as opposed to Kamala?
I’m not sure yet, if I’m going to vote for her, do a write in or sit this one out. But damn it, I don’t want another Trump presidency.
