Of course an OutKast album would be welcomed, but what would it even sound like at this point. I would be more disappointed if they went out like The Fugees and all we had were two albums and out of the two, only one of them was a classic. OutKast has 6 albums and only one of them isn't good/great. We saw them go from two good MC's to two great MC's to two elite MC's. It wasn't the MC aspect as we also saw them become co-producers and producers of their own music as well as others. This was the rare group or duo who was got the hood love, the love from purists, the hipster love, the soccer mom love, the commercial/mainstream success, the critical acclaim, and the accolades.

Than when Dre sat down for idlewild … them daytime n late night shows stopped booking them

them boys always together

Anything big makes Dre ears it and give his input

If he is asked by any of the dungeoneeze he’s there with a 16

I mean I guess, maybe an indie option at this point? Not sure what his business looks like at all.

Maybe he just wants to flex the muscle every now and then. He’s STILL an artist just not full time and hasn’t been for the last twenty years.

He’s already said over and over he doesn’t love rap that like anymore. He doesn’t buy into his own hype or legend. He doesn’t want the responsibility of “saving” the genre. And wants to work with and how he wants with no stipulations.

i dunno bro, when they become famous and public figures its another ball game. the media makes millions-billions documenting the private lives of entertainers. tabloids, worldstar, tmz, page six, etc rake it in.
i guess some get tired of the constant publicity after a number of years.
