Getting a chunk of money isn’t going to address a lot of these long term issues that have affected the black position in America.
I still think financial reparations should be studied and understood before guaranteeing everyone will get it. It’s not that simple to say everyone will get a check. But that’s why there is HR40 bill which is backed by her, Warren, Booker, etc.
But what I think should be more lauded is the institutional reparations that will positively affect the situation for a much longer period of time than a hand out of dollars.
