You're not getting a f*cking speech while you stand around with Genocide Joe and Killer Kamala signs. Put your emotions in your pockets for a minute and embrace the reality of the situation.

The DNCs purpose and priority is to put a pair of Democrats in the Oval Office and a majority in both chambers of congress. The Harris/Walz campaign's objective is to sell themselves as that pair. You all don't want to hear this and you demonize anyone who points it out to you but, the vast majority of the country does not share your urgency on Gaza or on the Palestinian people. Because of this, the Democrats will not suddenly fast track the issue to be of utmost importance. Not now nor after the elections.

A shift in US foreign policy is not going to get you a ceasefire, how many times does Netanyahu has to demonstrate to you that money and weapons from the US will not deter him from saving himself at all costs while being able to kill an ethnic group of people he hates and knows others who will aid him also hate?

Israel NEEDs a regime change. The State Department is not going to actively assist in a regime change in an ally country.
These people can’t see the logical forest from the emotional trees

The genocide in Gaza is terrible but don't use ADOS history to make your point.
I'll take my instruction from the long lineage of civil rights giants who were actually active during the period like Malcolm - who drew explicit comparisons between the two struggles and had an understanding of the intersectionality of anti-colonialist movements across the globe - over Coli User #79364 who is uncomfortable when a racist white man is being put in his place. Thanks though.

The speech that the Uncommitted movement wanted to have delivered ended by forcefully endorsing the Harris campaign because Donald Trump and the Republicans are anti-Palestinian pieces of shyt, and it still got rejected by the Harris campaign. They're literally doing what you're asking them to do and still getting their face spit in. Ultimately a lot of y'all just want these people to disappear because their very existence is holding up a mirror.
I think they are just playing it safe because even with all the momentum in the world and Trump falling on his face every day they are barely scraping by. I am not saying I know whether it would be a net negative or net positive. But it is a risk and their job is to mitigate them.

I see your side of it though and wouldn't pretend to know the future.

If she cared more about Kamala winning than virtual signaling about Palestine then why did she go public? The fact that she’s doing this shows Kamala made the right choice.
You have the timeline wrong. She went public after being told to fukk off by the Harris campaign. And she went public because she cares more about saving the lives of her family than Kamala Harris being embarrassed by the fruits of her own shytty labor.

I would have trusted Rashida Talib more than some unknown state rep.
THE UNCOMMITTED CAMPAIGN OFFERED TO LET HARRIS CHOOSE ANY PALESTINIAN-AMERICAN SHE WOULD LIKE TO DELIVER A SPEECH - INCLUDING RASHIDA - AND THEY STILL SAID NO. THE ISSUE ISN'T WITH ANY PARTICULAR SPEAKER OR SPEECH, IT'S THAT THEY DON'T WANT A PALESTINIAN ON STAGE AT ALL.

All the hypotheticals you're throwing up have been debunked and sooner or later you're going to realize the reality of the situation here.

Do you think their speech is going to call off the Killer Kamala protestors?

If the calculus was as simple as you’re making it then it would be a no brainer for the DNC to allow her to speak but it’s not. There’s a risk, if she goes off script and says super controversial shyt then they’ll either have to cut her mic or let her finish and either scenario would severely damage Kamala’s momentum.

On the flip side if DNC allowed the speech as presented what would be the upside? Sure she could gain some votes but would that be offset by Zionist switching to Trump?

The upside is limited and like I said the fact that they are going public with being rejected shows they don’t give a fukk if they hurt Kamala’s campaign as long as they can get message out.
That is a dangerous outlook breh. Kamala isnt just running on the idea of hope, she is seeking to be hope

As you can see this is a very emotionally charged subject. There’s a high probability that any Palestinian giving that speech would go off script. If I was Palestinian, I would definitely go off script.

As you admit they care more about their family in Palestine more than the potential blowback Kamala would get.

I didn’t get the timeline wrong, the fact that she went public after getting denied shows that she doesn’t give a fukk about the potential blowback Kamala would get, all she cares about is the message.

Why did our friends skip past all of the Twitter posts from legitimate reporters saying that Trump talked to Bibi and Trump told him "don't make a deal"
Because it has no bearing on this discussion!

And again, the ask was for a speech that would endorse Kamala because Trump is a racist, anti-Palestinian piece of shyt and it still got rejected because the speaker would be Palestinian!
