Just going by recent history. Didn't hear many republicans complaining about the libertarian ticket in 2020. Even though Trump only lost by a few thousand votes in key swing states. If there was no Libertarian running a lot of those votes would have gone to Trump. It's usually only the Democrat party that is against other parties running a candidate.

I think whether it's Biden, Harris or anyone else. If they win against Trump, we already know Trump will not accept the results which means the GOP will not accept the results. There is going to be bigger fight than 2020. The Dems are going to need whoever wins to stand up and fight for their win. Someone who can actually speak would help. There no such thing as a spoiler. People have run and are going to continue to run for president in the other parties, the Green Party, the Libertarian Party, and others. It's going to happen in every single election. Obama somehow won 2 elections with a Green Party candidate running for president on the ballots. How'd he do that? How did Trump win in 2016 when there was a Libertarian candidate on the ticket? If you want win you have to overcome those votes going to 3rd parties. Its just a fact. You can't prevent them from running. While there may have been a few pieces about in 2020, The Dems cry about 3rd parties waaayyy more than the GOP. Maybe Ross Perot was the last guy the GOP complained about but don't really remember it happing that much since then.
