Many people are FORGETTING the reason why Biden was the one who needed to face Trump in 2020. Unfortunately, Trump is going to get roughly 40% of the country, maybe more.. just off being a loud mouth who is a racist. That's the truth. This is where a large swath of the country is at... It doesn't matter how dumb, stupid, incompetent he is. It doesn't matter how racist, it's encouraged. The criminality doesn't matter either.

So why was Biden the choice? Because he appeals to WHITE SUBURBS and he was not nearly as toxic as Hilary Clinton.

In those white suburbs, yeah they are usually center-left on a lot of issues, maybe even center-right.. but it doesn't matter Biden appeals to both crowds and he appeals to all of the independent voters in those areas as well...

This is another reason why Biden performed so well up in the Rust Belt... while Hilary got trounced up there.

This is politics. You are going to run the person who has the best chance at overcoming the large percentage of cacs who are in the MAGA cult..

What other candidate would appeal to those same demographics? Not all Democrats are the same. I'm not sure Newsom would play well in the Rust Belt...

Biden was the perfect guy to combat Trump and the reason he's still running is because the GOP are still running with Trump..
