As a long time resident in Howard county Maryland I've been wanting to see the same type of public transportation development in the Baltimore area as they've done in the DC area.

After years of planning Hogan ended up cancelling it his first year in office. As extra salt in the wound he ended up approving a new purple line for the DC area. A lot of people in the area believe the decision was racial

It goes even deeper than that. Hogan is a self dealing crony capitalist. He blocked the redline to give his developments a boost and to help out state highway contractors.

Then he doubled down by mismanaging the construction of the purple line in MoCo/PG. That project won’t finish until 2027 at the earliest and has absolutely destroyed local businesses adjacent to the work. Between the ballooning costs and schedule delays no one should ever want him in a position of authority again.
