If you look at the universe with a strictly scientific standpoint.

I'm talking about the big bang.

And most if not all leading astrophysicists do not believe in intelligent design.

But why would an unconscious or unintelligent force host laws of physics that would eventually develop order and intelligence?

That just makes no sense at all. How can intelligence spawn from the unintelligent, the conscious from the unconscious? These are stark comparisons that can't simply be looked over. Cells being able to come together and continually form complex organisms. It's as if the cells had or have a motive. Cells supposedly unconscious forming an organism with a conscious??

How is this possible without some kind of motive? Some kind of design?

I'm not religious but I find it crazy to look at the above facts and say this whole existence is by chance.

The bigger question is why are we here now? At this point in humanity? We could have existed in any era or epoch, but we exist now. We exist in a world where everyone can communicate instantly with each other. Where we can see further into the cosmos that ever imagined. Where we have spacecraft on other planets. Was this a random event for you to exist now? Or is there greater meaning behind it?

Life, without education or knowledge procreates and moves itself forward. If we're asking what the purpose is we'd have to know if growth ever stops or, and people hate to hear this, if our creator has a purpose for us. Even without a belief in creator you still have the thought of self to think about. Does growth ever end. Seems like everything moves in neverending cycles. I cant imagine what death truely is.

I can. It's the same as birth, or the moment in between dreams. Do you remember that? Or did you just come into existence? You sleep for 8 hours, but does it feel like that?
