Top 10 QBs don't lose to Daniel Jones in the playoffs
I have Cousins ranked #19

Mahomes

Allen
Burrow
Hurts

Dak
Tua
Herbert
Rodgers
Stafford

Stroud
Lawrence
Purdy
Watson
Goff

Love
Murray
Fields
Cousins

Anthony Richardson, Bryce Young, Russ, Carr, and incoming rookies can easily supplant Cousins

Kirk ain’t a bum

He the best QB for 2 franchises this century

He’s an above average QB, same tier as Dak, Seahawks Russ

Rus has a Super Bowl + 2 Super Bowl appearances
Dak has playoff wins under his belt + not over-reliant on his perimeter weapons

I don’t even know who his weapons were, but why did Mac Jones fall off so bad after his rookie season? Was Josh McDaniels really that good? Coaching matters? :jbhmm:
Point is Jones had worse weapons but somehow has better passing numbers than Fields.

People say Mac is trash despite having garbage weapons - and deservedly so - but with Fields an outcry begins about his lack of weapons

Mac Jones has 1308 pass attempts in 42 games (an average of 31 pass attempts per game).
Justin Fields has 958 pass attempts in 40 games (an average of about 24 pass attempts per game).

Of course Mac Jones should have better passing numbers. Fields only has 9 games where he attempted 30 or more passes. Jones has 29 games with 30 or more pass anttempts, and even has two games where he attempted 50+ passes.

Kirk's a good QB, he's also a teeth clencher who tightens up the brighter the lights get. Can't fault Atlanta for wanting to plug a proven QB into the infrastructure they've built, it's been rough since that SB loss.

If anything goes wrong this becomes a Rodgers/Jets fukk up and you’re wasting another year of Bijan’s rookie contract. Kirk is good and fits but he’s also old coming off a major injury. This is a big risk.

And frankly it makes no sense to go all in on Kirk but not even inquire about Lamar last offseason.

:dahell: when I say passing numbers, I didnt mean TOTAL passing numbers

of course fields has less pass attempts

mac jones never had a receiver of dj moores caliber his entire career, dudes best wr was kendrick bourne and his AVERAGE numbers are better or as good as fields. how ?

sure, fields has the rushing yards, which is great, but as a passer ?
