The leverage of working out a deal with Cousin to help waive his no trade clause. Yeah that leverage.

By drafting Penix from the jump and benching him and pissing him off in the process, they're essentially at the mercy of whatever Cousins says. I wouldn't blame him in the slightest if he didn't do them a favor by helping them out.
Man fukk Kirk. He got PAID and it’s only his fault this is happening. He played like ASS the past few games and forced the team’s hand. Now he’s not even gonna be a professional about it.

:camby: get this fakkit away from my team.

Relax? Mans got a $180M contract with $100M guaranteed and will carry a massive dead cap number. It was an unnecessary gamble for an aging QB coming off a significant injury not to mention we compounded the decision by drafting his replacement less than 45 days later.

This is what Falconing looks like
Imagine if we didn’t have his replacement tho? We’d be stuck without a competent qb or have to trade hella assets to move up in the draft this offseason and get a qb

Yea it was said before the season that Blank insisted on not just a QB in free agency, but it had to be Cousins. The senile fukk just wanted a immobile white boy like Matt Ryan in there. The Gm Fontenot, hedged his bet, and convinced them to draft Penix as a safeguard for the inevitable Cousins collapse. A 36 year old QB off a ACL injury was stupid asf in the first place, even more reason for the bozo owners to stay out of the personnel decision making.

With KD I think Covid helped him to extend the recovery period. He didn't play for 17-18 months. Usually athletes are back doing full practice and playing within 8-9 months post injury.
That, and when he wasn't 100%, he had Harden to carry the Nets and let him miss half the season. Without that he comes back 80-85% and deals with the consequences.
Yea but every 2 weeks KD is out with a calf strain
And this.

You think Green Bay tries to sign him?
Nah. I think Malik Willis has earned the job. He’ll be better with an offseason in the system and Tom Clements QB School. And he’s still young.

I think Kirk signs with Cleveland if Winston bolts

Or Indianapolis if Flacco leaves/retires

Blank was shook handing the franchise over to a left handed Black QB from PTSD......now that he sees Cousinsi is ass, hes cool with Penix taking over.
