  • The two-thirds of Democrats who say Biden needs to withdraw
  • A sizable chunk of the 86% of voters who say Biden is too old to run again
  • The tens of thousands of primary voters in must-win swing states who told Biden to fukk off during the primary over his handling of Gaza
You think george clooney is gonna vote for trump?? :mjlol:

Black people will fall in line and vote for anyone but the gaza stan’s will say fukk it and let the people who publicly advocate more war win.

Y’all logic isn’t adding up :francis:

That group never says they won’t vote for him though Or that they would vote for Trump.

You think george clooney is gonna vote for trump?? :mjlol:
Nobody said vote for Trump.

Apparently we're being purposely obtuse today, and ignoring the fact that a large number of potential Dem voters will just stay home. :francis:

A new candidate would have some latitude to campaign on some new, fresh policies and ideas. But most importantly, they can actually...you know...campaign on the ideas unlike the current candidate.

That the candidate is not actively dying in front of our eyes every day.

Biden is personally committed to Zionism and Israel in a unique way, so there's no guarantee we will get the exact same policy with a new candidate. There will still be protests, but yes, I believe many moral abstainers would feel more free to vote for a new ticket because they're specifically protesting the actions Joe Biden has already taken.
The reason campaigns take time is you need more than a month to put together policies to run a country the size of America.

Putting someone on an off-footing cause they don’t know what or how their policies will be implemented will make them look unprepared which is the only way to differentiate themselves from unprepared Biden.

That last part is nonsense. That’s like saying it’s okay to vote for George Wallace type over Trump cause Trump is a different kind of racism. The entire American government is uniquely tied to Israel no matter who is in office. Again you’re just setting up key demos to just sit out from disappointmen in the new candidate being just the old candidate

So:

-Run Biden off the ticket
-Harris becomes the nominee and Trump steamrolls her to win the election.
-Harris is passed over for nomination,
black women burn down the party, and your fantasy dream ticket loses to Trump because the party is too broken and the nominee has to start from scratch financially and build a national campaign with only 3.5 months to go.

Good politics guys. This is Van Jones level of political analysis.
This doesn’t happen. People are wish casting about the real power of black voters.

Kamala is not a swing vote in black voter activism.

If she stays on the ticket it’s because she beat back the challengers, but biden must not remain.

No the fukk they won't.

All those "K-Hive" stans are about is towing the party line. If Kamala is replaced they make a stink about it for a week or two, but they'll still vote for the Dem nominee in November.

If Biden goes, Kamala needs to go too. :camby:
Although I align with the K-Hive politically, they’re as effective as Bernie Bros. They’re loud and aggressive and even more realistic, but they’re not truly influential nor do they move any real needles.

They’ll cry, but they’ll fall in line.

its not about the policies, its about being able to campaign. Biden is fundamentally unable of carrying out the basics of the job.

the party shows it can pivot and protects itself against the obvious appearance of the candidate, not the platform.

Biden himself is the threat to himself.
If he dies we get Kamala anyway.

What is gained by a forceful coup 4 months out. Throwing the party in chaos this person is supposed to set up and run a successful nationwide campaign in 4 months?

Sounds stupid to me :francis:

In what world do Democrat black women just tolerate the sitting VP and first black woman VP being passed over for the white savior dream ticket?

Its not possible. They arent just going to suck it up and fall in line.
Everyone sees whats happening. Kamala is a toss up but if she clear an open convention then she locks it down and secures the base.

This is an anti-trump moment, not a pro-biden one. It always was.

Black voters are not stupid. Either that or stop saying “black voters are strategic and nuanced” and admit you think black voters are incapable of advocating for themselves.

BIden was literally the white savior in 2020. People aren’t immune or unfamiliar with this.
