from my understanding, Anakin was conceived by the force as a balance to the activities and of Plagueis and Sidious' failed manipulations of midicholorians. He was what Sidious thought was the direct result of his manipulation, therefore would always be Sith, but turned out he wasn't which is why Anakin could kill him in the name of love and not hate.

The Jedi believe that the force should simply flow through them, they are to completely give themselves to it and even during lightsaber battles are not supposed to really be in control of their own actions. If they get got, they get got....

You gotta read that last book breh. But to sum it up in a nutshell, the Jedi could not sense the Sith. Plagueis and Sideious had a fukking master plan in motion right under their noses and the Jedi didn't know shyt. That same plan is the driving force behind the events of the prequels.
All the shyt that happens in Eps 1-3 are the direct result of Plagueis strategy.

read the book, plagueis planned everything 30 years before it happened and got sidious when he was a teenager
