Damn this post makes me want to revisit Nastradamus
I bumped it heavy in the early 00s. Then it's been here and there after that.

I last time I bumped was a few years ago and I just skipped some songs.

I always thought it was uneven back then, but I always had a soft spot for this project considering it was literally the last 90s album from Nas

This should inspire you to listen

Guarantee nobody who call Nastradamus trash ever listened to this song :stopitslime:

Nas verse starts at 2 min mark but whole song is dope :ahh:

One song or verse don't make a whole album great though

Kendrick no doubt has the best album. It’s debatable after that. LIG vs TPAB. That’s not a landslide in either direction. LIG is more consistent throughout while TPAB has the best songs clearly. Damn ain’t better than none of the KD albums or Magic 1. Nas however does have Nasir in there which wasn’t good. I didn’t like Magic 2 either. I could go further but my point is it’s debatable if we only talking quality

disagree. the impact that TPAB had, smokes LIG. LIG is definitely one of my favorite nas albums and damn near a personal classic to me but TPAB was a defining album of the 2010s. DAMN vs LIG or KD2 is more arguable but even then im taking DAMN. album was a hit machine while maintaining great quality all throughout. kenny was 3 for 3 on classic albums (DAMN is arguable) before dropping mr morale which was pretty much mid.

If we talking impact I got no argument. I’ve seen people say TPAB is the greatest rap album ever. Crazy impactful. I’m talking quality. Damn is so overrated. I thought it was average when it came out still feel the same. I appreciate the concepts of what he was doing but I found a lot of that album boring.

you nas stans are wild. kenny SMOKES nas catalog from 2011 til now (and pretty much any other rapper in the same timeframe). its only debatable on this website.

No Lite Is Good and KD1-3+Magic can go against any rapper who released anything in the same timeframe, stop forming your opinions based on those of hipster cacs

Nas but I like Kendrick's way more. Kendrick is an amazing rapper but I see why Nas gravitated to Lupe for example.

Idk about that but I think it's absolutely one of the best in recent times. Damn is basically a better GKMC imho. some nikkas were upset because I said and still think GKMC is overrated and would put section.80 above it. GKMC is just more digestible which I think damn did even better.

I would honestly put damn. before GKMC
