I said Jay because I reward him being able to make a 444 20 years into his career

Reasonable Doubt is also in my top 15 all time. I don’t think Kendrick highest rated album is but I do think he has like 3 in the top 50 for me which is a lot for one artist only person with more is Kanye.

Let's not do that. Hov's best albums are masterpieces.

Being very strict, the following albums are masterpieces from Hov

Reasonable Doubt
Blueprint
The Black Album
American Gangster

Vol 1 and 2, Blueprint 2 are very good.

4:44 is aight.

Vol 3, Kingdom Come, Blueprint 3: mid to awful

From Kendrick, his masterpieces are:

Good Kid Mass City
To Pimp a Butterfly

DAMN and Section 80 are very good.

Mr Morales is aight.

Giving Jay the nod here. It's hard to be consistently good over time and you're bound to have a few dips in artistic quality.

this, but flip 4:44 to very good and BP2 to trash.

I'll say this

If I average out and score catalogs that way Kenny beats everybody.. he just doesn't have the quantity

Their careers are totally different and times feel different in how albums are made by the top guys.. This is hard to describe what I mean but it's something I've felt for over a decade now..

But on another note Kendrick would never slap together in an album in a weekend, he's more Dre than Jay..
