KTHOTS have LOST their minds :mjlol:

Close this fukking disrespectful thread immediately.

It’s Nas.

Kendrick continues to be the most overrated artist of this generation. Artist. Not even rapper
He's straight up trash just say it lmfao

Nas. You can start from Illmatic, or count back from Magic 3 - and it's still Nas.

Better debut
Better sophomore
Better Lost Tapes
His worst album better than Dot's worst.

However you wanna go, it's Esco.

And you can check my post record, I'm a Kendrick stan (except for Big Steppers, which did not hit for me at all).

The only way to make it fun debate is to handicap Nas and start from 2011. It’s debatable then. GKMC would be the best album by either but after that it’s debatable. LIG and Magic have strong cases to be over TPAB as an overall body of work. The highs are definitely higher on TPAB though. I’m def taking KD 3 over Damn. The rest Id have to revisit and give some serious thought.

you nas stans are wild. kenny SMOKES nas catalog from 2011 til now (and pretty much any other rapper in the same timeframe). its only debatable on this website.

A lot of weirdos can't stand Nas doing anything but rap about the block on throwback Pete Rock beats, thats why a song like You Wont See Me Tonight or You Owe Me can be called Meh.

nikkas don't like women, thank God Nas strayed away a bit because in 2024, You Owe Me is one of the biggest songs in his discography, should have strayed away more, and say fukk these backpack rap fans.
I Am is a classic to me and it ain’t revisionist, it was classic to me in 1999 :sas1:

Nastradamus was a dope album as well. Majority of people saying it’s trash are just repeating what they heard others say and didn’t even listen to the album themselves. Nas verse on “Last Words” is a top 10 maybe top 5 Nas verse ever. 2nd verse on “God Love Us” up there too :sas2:

Life We Chose
Some Of Us Have Angels
Project Windows
Come Get Me
Shoot ‘Em Up
Last Words
Family
God Love Us
Quiet N’s
New World
You Owe Me

All are great tracks and I didn’t even have to look up the track listing

I personally liked the title track and Big Girl too but I left them out since most don’t. Even so the rest of the album was amazing :stopitslime:

Kendrick no doubt has the best album. It’s debatable after that. LIG vs TPAB. That’s not a landslide in either direction. LIG is more consistent throughout while TPAB has the best songs clearly. Damn ain’t better than none of the KD albums or Magic 1. Nas however does have Nasir in there which wasn’t good. I didn’t like Magic 2 either. I could go further but my point is it’s debatable if we only talking quality

Let Kendrick release 17 studio albums, 5 compilation albums, 2 lost tapes and 1 EP... and he will have misses as well.

But this Questions is ridiculous,

Nas has borderline or classic albums in
Illmatic
It Was Written
Stillmatic
The Lost Tapes
Magic
KD2 and KD3
I AM
God Son
Life is Good

Kendrick has
Section 80
Good Kid
To Pimp a Butterfly
Damn is a classic

Gods son is not a classic

Damn this post makes me want to revisit Nastradamaus

I bumped it heavy in the early 00s. Then it's been here and there after that.

I last time I bumped was a few years ago and I just skipped some songs.

I always thought it was uneven back then, but I always had a soft spot for this project considering it was literally the last 90s album from Nas

Kendrick for the same reason I said in the Jay thread..

I'd just choose Nas because there's more there but quality and consistency goes to Kendrick

I have Kendrick's entire discography clearing Nas's outside of Illmatic, IWW, LIG

Nas. He has a 16 year jump on him lmao what kind of question is this ???? He released 6 VERY good albums in a 3 year span. It’s an unfair question to ask.
