face is/was a legitimate basketcase... he is 5150 the diary was the final chapter of his actual diary...plus he was on sherm alot of the time

prime example I said it be4... minds playing tricks on me... is a wet anthem ... everybody gave different effects face tripping losin his family... willie a baller u never expect to do it ....chuck fighting his shadow n stealing candy shyt

face has 4 phases of his career.

gb phase which he never wanted to do and was the only member to never leave the group... it was a never geto boys album without face no matter wha he thought about the group n willie mike or chuck was never featured on his solos ever but he was featured on mike n willie... he wasn't on chuck..he was burnt out on his theatrics lol

lil troy n troys lil bro Michael jermaine tales and the dairy(Mr scaface is back the world is yours and the diary) phase

the untouchable (untouchable fix last of a dying breed) phase

the final ride ( made emertius n deeply rooted) phase

the fix is not touchin last of a dying breed untouchable of the diary ...i hate the fix lol
I could see why some Scarface fans don't like The Fix as much as some of the Rap A Lot albums but hating it? I'm not a big fan of Last Of A Dying Breed though. That was one of them J Prince projects like Balls & My Word and My Homies pt 2. There's some cuts on there though.

Iā€™d say Outkast, but Iā€™m not sure if yā€™all counting groups or not. If not, for me itā€™s a tie between Ghostface and Nas. In terms of southern rappers, then yes, Scarface has the best solo discography from a southern artist.

I don't think The Fix is overrated. It's a great album. However, it is his most easily digestible, and most lighthearted. But you do still get typical Face...and it's still excellent, even if tame by Face's standards.

But he may be top 5. He does have some dudes/underwhelming albums.

Ghostface
Face
MC Eiht
Perhaps Game & Com Sense
Perhaps The Roots if they didn't have those handful of utter garbage albums

There really aren't that many with 75-80% of their catalog being great.

Last of a dying breed is Brad and Brad is talkin to yukmouth

Whatā€™s with you beefinā€™ with Scarface?
Them n*ggaā€™s is beefinā€™ with me, man. Iā€™m just defending myself, Iā€™m a man. I just canā€™t let a n*gga just step all on me and do me wrong. My fans wouldnā€™t appreciate that, they wouldnā€™t even f*ck with Yuk no more if I let a n*gga do me like that. The whole sh*t started from them two n*ggaā€™s. This n*gga (Scarface) ā€“ knowing that Too Short, we cool supposedly ā€“ but he knowing that this n*gga (Too Short) got an album talking about me donā€™t get on that song ā€˜cuz you gonā€™ automatically look like you talkinā€™ about me too. So this n*gga get on the song with Too Short, and Short talkinā€™ smack dead about me. I donā€™t know what made him do it. I guess he tryinā€™ to get his Oakland thug fan-base back, ā€˜cuz I rule that. So he gotta go head-to-head wit Yuk. He writes some lilā€™ sneaky sh*t. Iā€™m a fan, I listen to his sh*t and hear him dissinā€™ me and then I hear the n*gga ā€˜Face on the next verse sayinā€™ some stupid sh*t about me. Iā€™m like come on man, they ainā€™t sayinā€™ names, but we all know who the f*ck they talkinā€™ ā€™bout. So I came with my ā€œThug Lordā€ song. It was a lot of politics with that too. So I called J (Rap-A-Lot CEO) and was like, ā€˜J, Iā€™m signed to you, f*ck ā€˜Face. This n*gga dissed me, I gotta song Iā€™m sendinā€™ it to you.ā€™ I gave n*ggaā€™s a head up. I didnā€™t even do no sneaky sh*t, like putting it on the album after it got mixed and no one heard it. They (Scarface & J) called me on three-way and ā€˜Face was like, ā€˜dude, Iā€™ll never diss you, we family. Too Short dissed you, but that was him.ā€™ So I was cool, and took the song off my album. Then [ā€˜Face] came out wit his album and he got like four or five songs about me but he ainā€™t sayinā€™ my name, feel me? What type of sh*t is this? Itā€™s like he ainā€™t have sh*t to write about. Itā€™s like his whole album was a battle rap album. He had a couple of songs that was about something, but the other sh*t was all about your boy. I donā€™t take two years to make an album, I do sh*t in three weeks. They feel Iā€™m a young n*gga coming in the game. I ainā€™t tryna take sh*t over, we together. If Iā€™m from Oakland, Short should be down with me. If Iā€™m on Rap-A-Lot, ā€˜Face should be down with me, off top. The only n*gga I got beef with is Master P for bitinā€™ me. All these other n*ggaā€™s, Iā€™m just defending myself. Thatā€™s them, they on some ho sh*t. They some millionaires, they need to cut the b*tch sh*t out.

I'll take Face word for it. I dont really care bout that other Yukmouth shyt.
Scarface explains his opinion of what caused the decline of Rap-A-Lot Records to Noisey. He says that the labelā€™s CEO, J. Prince, was trying too hard to emulate Master P and No Limit Records.

ā€œJ Prince wanted to Master P the game,ā€ Scarface says. ā€œI was like, ā€˜Wow like we fukked up so bad trying to do Master P when we shouldā€™ve just continued to do us.ā€™ I feel like that was the fall of Rap-A-Lot Records to me. A lot of people may not see it like that, and some people might have gotten paid but from a creative stand point, trying be like Master P and put out albums every six or seven minutes fukked up our brand. I think greed fukked up the brand.ā€

The Houston rapper blasts Prince for trying to release more music than Rap-A-Lot could handle. He says The World is Yours, The Last of a Dying Breed and Balls and My Word are all projects that were compromised. He is especially critical of 2006ā€™s My Homies Part 2.

ā€œHe put my name on My Homies 2,ā€ Scarface says of J. Prince. ā€œIf anything, I feel like he was trying to ruin my career with cut-away material that never ever made the album. Just a totally disrespectful dude when it came to your shyt. J didnā€™t give a fukk about you. He gave a fukk about him. He didnā€™t give a fukk about your family. He gave a fukk about his. He didnā€™t give a fukk who you fed. He only fed his people. Thatā€™s real shyt. Iā€™m not making this shyt up.ā€
