Well let’s think about this. If you didn’t feel his talent was worth everything that comes with him enough to be your starter, why would you want it as a backup or qb in waiting.

Plus, contrary to all the cope about ‘right situation’, if you’re drafted after the first it’s not ideal at all and you’re a project. That means teams examined you and determined you aren’t special. Well, the league is FULL of not special QBs who could be starters. Gardner Minshew, Sam Howell, Aiden O’Connell, etc. So a QB that projects to that is not a high priority pick. Not just a 1st but even a 2nd.

Plus, if I’m taking a project, I’d rather Jalen Milroe or Tyler Shough, not the known quantity with no plus attributes. So don’t be surprised :francis:

Because teams will "take a flyer" on a guy outside of the 1st rnd.

I personally think he's better than Dart, but his tape has moments of bad decision making which can be seen as him being stubborn looking for the big play, or just wanting to make his numbers look better by taking sacks. Migbt be best for him to go somewhere where he's not expected off thr rip to carry a franchise

The way the talk has been has been the dude is complete ass, or his ego is outta control........at what round do those things stop mattering?

The draft is always about risk vs reward :gucci:

Knowing his faults a top pick or even the first round was too risky, that's a risk you can take in the 2nd and 3rd round.

How has Cleveland ever been a best landingnspot for any QB?! There browns are always a fukked destination
I get it, but were the Bengals a great landing spot before Joe Burrow? Chargers before Rivers/Herbert?

As a QB, you go where you go and make the best of it. As a player in general, you’re supposed to make the best of it. Maybe you get it done, maybe you don’t but you bring what you can. When you’re the QB who brings the city it’s first Super Bowl you’re going to be a legend. Browns right now have a good amount of draft capital and a solid defense. They’ll get wins and even more wins with a QB who can get it done.
