you guys are out of your mind thinking there is some conspiracy this nikka didn't go first when they be drafting dudes with legit court cases attached to them :dead:

It was only a couple teams that "needed" a qb anyway. didn't only two go first round?

As much shyt as is being talked about the guy that's exactly what it sounds like they want to happen. All the talk about how he's not good at this and he is flawed in that. So now what disingenuous mufukka fine start around and start singing his praises as a second founder and look fake as fukk? So the slide has to continue our the games being played well be confirmed. Nobody gonna pop all that shyt and then change their tune and lose face.....I rather see the kid go undrafted and go where he wants.

Stop breh, he not going undrafted :mjlol:

The way the talk has been has been the dude is complete ass, or his ego is outta control........at what round do those things stop mattering?
Having an ego and some minor character flaw has never stopped anyone deserving of being drafted high. NFL teams are in the business of winning, they give felons multiple chances as long as they are good players. Shadeur is not a first round talent, his stats were juiced up cos of the offensive play call and his team was coming from behind and they ended up passing the ball a lot. He can probably get better and be a starter in a good system with talent around him but he was never as good as the hype.

Lol underestimate racism brehs. They feel more comfortable with Black players who might have charges but present themselves with a humble and “happy to be here” vibe vs someone like Shedeur who they view as uppity. Not saying that’s the only reason Shedeur isn’t getting drafted higher but that definitely plays a role. He would have to be head and shoulders above all the other prospects for them to overlook it and it would be moreso driven by job security fears of getting fired for not drafting him should he become a superstar they passed on.

Too many people don’t live in reality.

Yes, for many years there was a stigma about black QB’s just being mobile, not being as intelligent as white QB’s, etc.

That has clearly changed over the past ten years or so for the most part. If people really think a GM and owner are going to pass on someone they think is a franchise QB because they are “cocky” or because of who their father is, they don’t live in reality. A GM will be fired if they don’t construct a team well, and no owner is passing on a QB that they think will be a massive money maker.

Rams have a plan. 1 more season with Stafford then trade for Lawrence using one of their 1st next season. McVay gets Lawrence, still young and will go on another run. Lawrence will have a mid season again at Jags.
Rams GM has specifically said the next QB will be mobile. Having a statue limits the offense so much in the modern NFL.

Shedeur will be one of the least mobile QBs in the NFL day 1

Have any of the other top drafted Black QBs gotten the arrogant or cocky reputation thrown on them? I can only think of maybe Jameis.

I hate how people keep comparing his situation to Lamar. That was 100% a case of pure unadulterated racism and him winning MVP unanimously in his Sophmore year broke all sorts of barriers/stigmas for Black QBs.

Claiming racism when black QBs have dominated the draft he past couple of years is absurd. That's the cult-like behavior Deion has created around his family.

He's not going yo the Chiefs or Eagles. That would be a shocker and a waste.

So he's a 2nd rnd lock at this point.

Well let’s think about this. If you didn’t feel his talent was worth everything that comes with him enough to be your starter, why would you want it as a backup or qb in waiting.

Plus, contrary to all the cope about ‘right situation’, if you’re drafted after the first it’s not ideal at all and you’re a project. That means teams examined you and determined you aren’t special. Well, the league is FULL of not special QBs who could be starters. Gardner Minshew, Sam Howell, Aiden O’Connell, etc. So a QB that projects to that is not a high priority pick. Not just a 1st but even a 2nd.

Plus, if I’m taking a project, I’d rather Jalen Milroe or Tyler Shough, not the known quantity with no plus attributes. So don’t be surprised :francis:

People saying the Rams, but if they really wanted him they’d have taken him and not traded back knowing the QB-needy teams are going to make a run before they pick again.

Rams are eyeing the next years of QB talent to sit behind Stafford, not Shedeur. They want to go vertical with a big QB and that’s someone like Nico Iamaleava who brings the same physical traits of a Justin Herbert/Josh Allen. That’s what a coach wants if they got to deal with attitude. They want to turn a QB who can do things they never could into a player they never were.

The main problem is Shedeur brings no elite physical trait. If dude could do what he does but throw like Anthony Richardson he’d be #1 overall despite all the brashness.

I see the Browns drafting offensive line and RB in their next two picks in the second round

I think Kellen Moore would want to pick a QB for the Saints, but mickey loomis being the top dumb ass in the Saints organization he would draft a DE with the Saints second round pick
