I’ve heard y’all mention them but I don’t know what they are or why I’d need em yet

They are game launchers just like steam
Example I have like fifty games on epic Games
On origin which is basically a EA launcher I have a bunch of games as well

cool case but the removable magnetic kickstand fukks up the fan on some of the earlier steam decks so they had to do a recall…I would’ve bought one anyway and just not use the kickstand…the new version won’t ship til early next year…

The thing is every week epic Games gives out free games like all my games on epic Games are free.

I've gotten like Batman Arkham asylum, gta v , tomb Raider etc for free

Also check out like cdkeys before buying on the steqm store can usually get games way cheaper

after looking at several reviews, I ordered this case from amazon (review starts at 3:57)…not so much for protection but to have a better grip…if I don’t like how it feels, I’ll return it and just preorder the dbrand one even tho it’ll be a long wait for it…I would actually buy the magnetic version and just not use the magnet but I can’t even find it on ebay

ended up preordering the new version…in the meantime I’m using the jsaux case (I posted the video above)…not for protection but it provides me with a better grip…came today and it feels decent in hand…what I like about this case and the killswitch versus the other cases is that the grip material extends to the bottom corners of the steam deck

Still can't dock this to a TV, right?

  • Connect an HDMI cable from your dock to the monitor or TV.
  • Connect the USB-C charger to a power source, and to the dock's rear USB-C port. ...
  • Place the Steam Deck on the dock, and connect the USB-C dongle to the port on the top of the Steam Deck.
