re: the link I only used the “How to set up Xbox Cloud Gaming (Beta)” section to obtain the 2 lines of code and to download the xbox cloud gaming images to make it look clean in gaming mode…anyway for some reason it’s not recognizing the controllers at all once I open xbox cloud gaming…I’ll have to go over the steps and see if I forgot to do something…on the plus side I was still able to login and see that I can access shyt I’ve played on the console…so I can play a game on the console…then continue it on the steam deck or vice versa which is dope as hell

got it to work…this is where I fukked up…the first time I pasted the first line of code, I didn’t hit enter…I missed it when dude says it in the video…and it explains that it’s essential to make edge browser recognize the steam controls

Set it by entering this command and pressing Enter:

flatpak --user override --filesystem=/run/udev:ro com.microsoft.Edge

ugh this is what I was concerned about with PC gaming…nothing provides an absolute flawless experience but I’m already stuck having to do all this tinkering before I can even play a game…bluetooth keyboard works when it wants to in desktop mode even tho it works fine in gaming mode

alright I’m good to go but it’s still weird that my keyboard doesn’t work well in desktop mode…when it stops working, the only way to get it to work is to switch to gaming mode then switch back to desktop mode but then it’ll stop working after a while…maybe I’ll take this keyboard back and just get a wired one that I can hook up to the dock…alright I need a fukking drink/smoke

the only setback is it needs a better way to access PS+ on this without having to use a separate controller…I wonder if sony has any intention of offering the service on mobile devices thru cloud gaming

yes but they’re only accessible via PS4, PS5 and PC (I think windows using a separate controller)

chiaka is for remote play tho right?

I want to fukk with it but remote play is not appealing to me…my PS5s are all wirelessly connected online and I don’t like having to be tethered to a PS5 in order to stream games…defeats the purpose of being portable when I want to use the device when I’m not home

I was making the shyt harder than it needed to be…didn’t sleep well at the time so my nerves got the best of me…but the process is VERY fukking easy

I know it’s not yet feasible but this would be perfect if it was the width of a switch which would shave off nearly 2.5”…it’s width is the only complaint I have…I feel like I have to stretch my thumbs too far if I need to use the on-screen keyboard or touch the screen for whatever reason which is awkward…that being said the only way to make it less wide would be to compromise the screen size or the button layout which I wouldn’t be in favor of
