My Ex Got Engaged, Keeps Blowing up my Phone :UPDATE: Blocked her and told her to not txt

So my Ex got engaged on New Years Day

She called me to let me know that she was engaged to a "Rich Nigerian Doctor" (her words).
I said congrats and kept it moving.

Its been 7 days and she's texted me on 7 different occasions since then.

Asking me shyt like:
-"Would it be weird if I invited you to the wedding?"
-"Did you ever think I would get married so fast?"
-"You guys have similar builds. He's tall like you"
-"There is nothing like true love! I cant wait for you to experience what I'm feeling now"


I just responded with stuff like "I'm happy for you" and "Wow that's amazing"

She's not the petty type but... But in the back of my head...

It doesn't help that she lives in walking distance from me and I see her running or shopping regularly.


I told my girl and she told me that she doesn't trust her.



I'm doing my best to politely ignore it but... Is this even an issue? What does this mean? Brehettes help me out.

One of my not-so-closely related cousins is a fukking 5'6 doofball but this dude comes from money, his parents are loaded and he just became a doctor himself so he's gonna be loaded himself. He just got engaged to some pretty little Indian chick who's also in med school. I swear when I went to visit them this chick was eye fukking me the whole time, it felt awkward as hell. Whole time my aunts and uncles and asking me why I aint married yet, I felt like pointing to this bride to be and saying that's why.

I've been through a situation similar to OP's and that's what I did, I just hit her up like "yo I'm not interested could you please stop texting me" and she stopped, if it worked for me it might as well work for him.
