How you gonna ROFL with a hollow back?
The fact that he is tied in the polls with an 81 year man with dementia is :laff:
Yes, well, neither is cognitively "sharp", but Biden's team, whom has been running the country in his stead this whole time is 1000% better than Trump's, whom hate everyone that does not look like them, and have as much money as they do :manny:

Someone getting shot at isn't going to make anybody that wasn't already voting for Trump decide to register and vote for him, lol, if anything, when the people that think that sort of thing should move the needle find out it doesn't, they will just become more obnoxious, and angry, and it will actually turn people off to him. I could however see all these celebrities and centrist dems calling for Biden to step down actually piss his base off, and have the affect on some voters that were kind of "ehhhh" that republic*nts were hoping that the Trump thing would have on "undecideds".
If Trump didn't get a bounce after the first debate and then he didn't get a bounce after the shooting; then he is on his last legs and has to get a bounce after this convention, because if not this thing is pretty much over There would literally be no way he could add more voters. At that point it would just up to Biden to get his voters to turnout, which they should based upon the overturning of Roe v. Wade.

My thing is why should there be a change in who people are voting for after the attempt. I can’t help but lol at the replay of Trump yelling “Fight Fight!” I’m like it’s your own people shooting at you. Who are you yelling fight to? To see people yuck it up and be like Trump is representation of toughness. He made his “own people” start bussin guns at him and his security and local police are so slack that it almost happened.

This moment should solidify in people’s minds that this goofy can’t even trust his own and makes so many enemies instead of friends, why would you put him to be president when America has a declining relationship with other countries and internal conflict with itself.

The fact that Biden is tied with a felon rapist with authoritarian ambitions is 🤦🏾‍♂️

It is folks like you that claim that Trump retaking the White House is inevitable, but the polling doesn't show it. Biden is an old man that half of his own party wants to step aside. So it is surprising to see that he is in a tie with a guy that most people think will easily win the election. :sas1:

I don't understand the bump conversation. This doesn't make him more likable to the people who didn't like him in the first place. The conversation is a way to hold people's attention long enough for the network/podcast/radio station to sell some ads before something more interesting pops up.

It’s essentially an open secret that Republicans have to cheat to win. With the go-ahead from federal courts, the party is prepared to do just that.

Vice reports that the Republican Party intends to spend $20 million to recruit a network of up to 50,000 volunteers to monitor poll locations. In 2018, a federal court allowed a decree that had been enacted for decades to expire. That decree prevented the Republican National Committee from enacting ballot security measures. The decree was enacted in 1981 after the RNC enlisted armed, off-duty police officers to patrol majority-minority precincts. Now that there is nothing on the books stopping them anymore, it appears that the RNC is fully back on its bullshyt.

The plan is to have these poll monitors stationed across 15 states to “monitor polling places and challenge ballots and voters deemed suspicious,” Vice notes. I can only imagine what constitutes a “suspicious voter.”

Sigh.

Republicans have steadily tried to tip the scales in their favor over the years, instituting stringent voter ID laws in 18 states. Vice notes that in Georgia, Gov. Brian Kemp and the GOP legislature canceled an election to place a new judge on the state’s Supreme Court so that Kemp could appoint a Republican in a state that has seen a recent shift to the left, so that seat was likely in play. Republicans have also engaged in aggressively partisan gerrymandering, resulting in lawsuits filed against GOP-legislatures in Wisconsin and North Carolina. Some of the money in the $20 million sum is meant to fight such lawsuits.

This effort to monitor polls comes as the party has heavily fought against proposals to expand vote-by-mail despite the fact that, you know, we’re kind of in the midst of an unprecedented pandemic. Wisconsin held an in-person election on April 7 and a study released by the National Bureau for Economic Research found a “statistically and economically significant association between in-person voting and the spread of COVID-19 two to three weeks after the election.” And despite facing a life-threatening pandemic, Wisconsin voters still showed up to thwart Republicans’ plans to steal the election.

The president recently called voting by mail “corrupt.” It’s worth noting that he voted by mail in Florida’s March primary.

if you won't vote for republicans then they don't want you voting at all!
