Trying to "both sides" a general election is stupid because Republicans are never going to do anything that specifically benefits black people and don't care if black people don't vote (in fact, it benefits them). So threatening to sit out those elections is just going to get more people like Trump in office.

Bothsiders would be better off trying to swing Dem primaries toward more pro-black candidates.

But they don't, because they're mostly disingenuous conservatives trying to swing elections towards the GOP.

Bothsides will be better off:

A. Running for office themselves
B. Starting a PAC/Super PAC
C. Electing people to local and state offices
D. Protest (ala Million Man March)
E. Collaborating with think tanks to draft policy

They can do any of these options to start pushing for progress on black issues but, instead they try to sabotage elections every four years.
