He’s gonna get at least 10 percent of the Black vote. We already had a Black president, so there’s not much excitement about that part from a lot of us with Kamala. Combine that with the way a lot of people feel about the democratic party after the Obama presidency, there are gonna be a lot of people who won’t vote at all or will vote for an independent. The numbers will definitely be interesting.

Republicans always get at least 8-12% of the Black vote.

The actual buried lede of this story is that the poll is flawed; they estimated there were only 100 Black respondants.

It's funny as hell, though. And hopefully a good sign that Trump's Black outreach was a complete waste. Black voters aren't nearly as divided as we'd been led to believe the past few months.

If Black folks are truly gonna "both sides" - and try to get concessions out of the white parties - they need a Michelle Obama type figure that is strong enough to say

"KAMALA, unless you come widdit, we staying home"

But the "both sides" camp is politically stupid, and doesn't know how to create someone that
1) Dems fear
2) Repubs fear
3) Black people respect

It's all online BS, never grass roots organizing.

And if a "Black Party" could ever truly organize and decide tight elections - a lot of what we want to get out of the Feds/State/City could get solved without them, imo.

With what money? We have the least wealth, we will always be outbid. AIPAC and corporations run these politicians.

Trying to "both sides" a general election is stupid because Republicans are never going to do anything that specifically benefits black people and don't care if black people don't vote (in fact, it benefits them). So threatening to sit out those elections is just going to get more people like Trump in office.

Bothsiders would be better off trying to swing Dem primaries toward more pro-black candidates.

But they don't, because they're mostly disingenuous conservatives trying to swing elections towards the GOP.

DNC keeps rigging primaries, and both main parties conspire to sabotage 3rd party candidates. If shyt was fair, Sanders would probably have been the Dem candidate once or twice. Reparations would be a bigger issue also. Williamson and West would have spread the message. They were quashed.
