When has a QB in the mold of Lamar Jackson or Jalen Hurts won a Superbowl?

Yal aren't really following me with what I'm saying. Even if Justin reaches that level, those guys tend to struggle more in the playoffs. They also get exposed when their teams fall behind and they have to manufacturer points, FAST. As good as they are, they have smaller margins for error IMO.

Even in this game today and last week Caleb had 3 turnovers, but you still feel like he can throw the team to a win.

THAT is simply not the case with true dual threat QBs
:mjpls: oh I didn't catch your drift until just right now.

Trent Dilfer, Jim McMahon and Phil Sims won Super Bowls. So that is hardly a compelling point, however since you asked Steve Young was a White left handed Lamar Jackson and he won a Superbowl. Hell Brett Favre was retarded and he won a Superbowl. But I understand your meaning now. :mjpls:

Justin throwing the ball 55 times while behind would spell relative disaster. Thats not where his game shines. i dont think people realize how crazy it is they asking a rook in his 3rd game to throw 50 times only a couple dumb ass rookie things happen. Its game 3 if you dont see the talent you blind. This is with no run game and waldron being a terrorist imagine if wal gets his head out of his ass or roschon os the rushing answer. Offense will look fine.

I think dual threat qb could win a SB. But they would have to be playing like mvp lamar which is a one of one.

Mooney looks fine with Atl and he was good with JF a few years ago. Jf had weapons the biggest issue was coaching. He is not with a hof coach and winning games since they know how to play within strengths over there.

Its still a ridiculous comparison based on emotion and love for Fields. They arent the same type of player. They are being asked to do different things. The gap in coaching is immense. Its also been 3 fukking games. We gave jf 3 years to show out. It took jf 3 years and DJ moore having the game of his life to break 300 yards n caleb just did it year one. They are being asked to do diff shyt. They wanted the passer and thats where we are now.
Mooney sucked in Chicago and he dropped passes like nobody's business. One stat line I saw showed him as among the league leaders in drops while he was in Chicago. In fact he dropped the game winning touchdown pass in Cleveland last season which eliminated the Bears from playoff contention.

Can we stop this bullshyt? Justin Fields was not making every throw here in Chicago. Maybe.... JUST maybe, the dude got better in Year 4. He was turning the ball over in the clutch, he was holding on to the ball too long. He was taking bad sacks. We are not going to act like dude was just amazing and not fukking up enough for them to move tf on.

They made a decision and they have to live with it.

Bears invested in him, got him Moore, passed on Stroud. They traded for Claypoole who was some shyt, Mooney was seen as legit until he wasn't.

This revisionist history like Justin didn't have time to sway the organization one way or the other is ridiculous.
The bullshyt is the dumb fans that attempted to pin all of the crappy Bears woes on Fields. If he was the problem then how in the Hell is Pittsburgh 3-0 with him but we are 1-2 with this same goofy head coach and they look just as terrible on the offensive line.

Its some real rose tinted glasses shyt going on. The amount of games I watched live as it was a a close 4th quarter and disaster struck when he was forced to throw.

I really like jf Im still a fan but I can also be honest about why they moved off him. Its year 4 hes in a great org and maybe just maybe he worked hard this offseason and got better?

Can we at least wait till the end of the season before we start lamenting on choosing caleb?

Saw the last half on replay and Swift is buns I wish we kept Forman and Waldron needs to exercise this adaptability he wants to sell.

I also wish we dumped Flus who keeps his shytty buddy-buddy coaches on and had Harbaugh instead. :francis:

Fields has a lot of work to do. Just 2 TD passes in 3 games. I don't think the OC is good and neither are the weapons outside of Pickens.

I just think the start he has had proves he COULD have won those kinda games under the right management/structure. I mean even TBF Bears won some decent games last year with him in the game manager role.

Caleb can be special. I just do worry about bad habits being picked up and hard to break under a lame duck from Flus.

Rams defense is suspect so hopefully he keeps getting better.

Goofy people literally thought that just swapping out Fields for Williams would make the Bears a winner, because Williams is a generational talent. That just showed me that it was useless discussing football with folks that don't understand that winning football teams start on the lines.

There is no way that you can look at that Bears offensive line and think that things will magically get better. They are going to have to make trades or go to waiver wire to upgrade in season. Otherwise they are going to have to max protect to keep Williams up right. We know that the line can't run block, so the Bears are going to be a one dimensional passing team.
