4th and inches on the goal line... run a pistol formation read option
:banderas:

That's Matrix level overstanding genius caliber play calling right there guys, I mean shyt
:whoo:
Boy when I saw that play I wanted to turn that crap off so bad. Making the game way too hard.

Lineup in jumbo package and run down hill with Johnson. If they stop it, lineup in it again and throw a playaction pass to Kmet

the biggest misstep made was retaining Flus and trusting him to develop Caleb, its just clearly not his strength as a coach and now it looks like we didnt bring in the best OC to guide this. cleaning house and pairing Caleb with an offensive minded HC starting fresh was so obviously the move

Caleb has gotten better every week, he looked good yesterday I thought (considering 3rd start). The first INT was bad, the second I didnt hate, he gave Rome a chance to make a play with a defender with his backed turned. He'll clean up the mistakes, overall encouraged by Caleb/Rome yesterday -- Rome looked like the playmaker we expected him to be

the offensive operation is just bad though - OL has been bad, we have no run game whatsoever (Swift might be a dud?), and the playcalling has been bad

I think this is going to be a situation of the talent being able to circumvent idiocy.

I'm also of the belief that Caleb is a bookworm and if he has to pick up a new O next year it won't be a big deal especially after taking his lumps this year. I just have no faith in Flus ever being a good HEAD coach. He is still making such weird macro game decisions.

Unfortunate to hear chatter about how this was supposed to be easy peasy cause the Indy D isn't even supposed to be good but, Bears will Bears I guess. :francis:

To me they aren't comparable. JF had much less on both sides of the ball. Caleb was sold on some otherwise unreasonable expectations.

IMO, any comparisons are more indicative of how awful the coaching staff here is. Eberflus is moreso a moron than Nagy and it shows in how they approached the staff filling.

I still affirm I'd spend the money to rent a stretched Hummer to drive Flus to the airport myself. :lolbron:

Bears should look into getting someone like McCarthy

He's a QB whisperer and would fix that O Line in less than a season

Terrible situationally, but you'll have Caleb for that

Bears need an Offensive Head Coach or a stellar OC

It cannot be overstated how clueless Flus is beyond defense (which is full of high impact, highly paid players lets not forget) and Justin went to a top 3 org with a hof coach. If Caleb balls out this year it will be completely in spite of how retarded flus is. I want to give him some grace but his game management is bad for madden on rookie

Flus just does so much head scratching shyt. As the HC why are you even allowing the fukking speed option to be PRACTICED let alone called in game :dead:

One of my early concerns right now is the lack of chemistry between Williams and Moore. Receivers want the ball all the time, and right now, Caleb seems to have more chemistry with Odunze when Moore is supposed to be WR1. It’s good he already got paid, but we know those NFL contracts have a bunch of stipulations. He’s gonna want his stats.

Ummm.... yeah, we not accepting any inaccurate deep shots from King Caleb moving forward after this Jayden Daniels performance

He missed 1 ball early down the field, but he's hit multiple BIG throws down field in this game. Same kind of looks we've watched Caleb miss repeatedly through 3 games.

:unimpressed:
