This might be one of the best tournaments in a while. So many contenders imo.
Obviously the sec juggernauts, but can't forget about St. John's, Sparty, Houston, even the Whoreverines can make a deep run
BYU is a sleeper.
Disappointments are easily Kansas, Illinois, and UNC

Wisky, Maryland and Purdue are all capable teams. Wisky due for a S16 or better type year and they have a dominant scorer.
Purdue has experience but no depth.
I was impressed by Wisconsin at Mackey last week. They stumbled vs Oregon, but they are definitely due for a S16.
If Maryland can avoid injury/foul trouble, especially in the backcourt, they can make a lot of noise. Queen will continue to shoot up the draft boards

@Buckeye Fever IU is another major disappointment this year. They brought in the top portal class, a McD's AA freshmen and spend the most in NIL to build their roster. Made MSU look like dog shyt, and just did the same to Purdue too. Woodson is just a lousy coach.

Braden smith will likely be 1st team AA and their PF is nice but other than that they kinda weak looking
