This is straight up lying. 72 million dollars of the last two years of cap room is tied up in Joe Harris, Monte Morris, James Wiseman, Bogdanovic and Alec Burks. At least 3 of them gonna be bought out in February
Why do they keep running Killian Hayes out there in front of Jaden Ivey?
That's fair but I think burying the kid behind Thompson and Hayes is counterproductive. If that's the case, bundle him up and trade him for Lavine or something.Because Hayes can defend. Neither one can shoot so they aren’t good fits with Cade but if you have to choose than go with the defensive player
I think he maxxes out as a poor man's Luka, which is a good player to be sure but not a #1 guy on a team that's gonna win anythingI mean it’s good he has pride but Detroit needs to figure out if he is their #1 option and if not how to get that player, and maybe trading him is part of that process.

Sengun invincible to you?Houston was lucky to keep getting in the top 4 the last three years in a row, Honestly they still don't have the franchise player to build around IMO, and the 2024 draft is weak... honestly I see Cooper Flagg in 2025 being the guy he can replace Jabari.

He reminds me of Hedo Turkgulu but smaller. I think he can be part of a winning team but I am not sure he is that winning teams #1 or even #2. Especially as he is learning bad habits as a #1 on a crap team.I think he maxxes out as a poor man's Luka, which is a good player to be sure but not a #1 guy on a team that's gonna win anything
Ivey/Harris/Wiseman for Lavine works in the trade machine. Bulls get a young guy with upside plus two expirings and get to move along from Lavine. He reminds me of Hedo Turkgulu but smaller. Monty talking about it’s his job to teach them good habits would imply he had some vets in front of them they were forced to emulate to get minutes. Either you get great talent to turn it around like OKC and ORL or you got to teach the kids good habits by mixing them in with the right vets like the Knicks and Rockers did.
I don’t think Detroit is doing a version of the process, but they might have to do a reset on these kids and ship some of them out, for more picks or better fitting vets.
The years that OKC take our picks are the years that Brooklyn picks goes to us. So one hand washed another. But. We needed to get out the lottery situation anyway. None of our lottery picks seem to be that dude. We lucked out with sengun. That’s how it goes. Philly had also those lottery picks but only Embidd worked out. We just need Jalen to at least become Jamal Murray to Sengun… Jabari needs to stop trying to become a top 3 talent and play to his talents. Just be the 3 and D player we need to you be. You ain’t Ingram or KD. Just be Houston Robert Horry.Houston doesn’t have their picks, but they do have the talent to do so which is more than what Detroit has.
It should also be noted that some of those picks are protected in the event that they do bottom out again. They also have the Nets picks as well at their disposal.
and what 3 are that?
