This is really insane to me …I have no idea what Monty is doing with that shyt. But unfortunately if it keeps going this way he and the black GM will both be in the unemployment line soon.
They still owe him like 60 mil so he's got some rope but man he does some really strange things personnel wise. I get that Ivey can't really shoot but Hayes ain't the answer and you're not trying to win games so at least develop your talent or make a trade to amplify the talent you want to keep

That is what they’re trying to do or else it makes no sense overpaying him to take the job.

League pass has been tough to stomach with how putrid they've been. Cade is nice. These other dudes need some work.
That’s why you got to wait til they offer that discount. They do it every year at some point In the season. I learned year 2 of the Silas era about paying for league pass for lottery teams :francis: have you looking in the mirror at yourself like Sanford :martin: “ya
Big dummy!!”

I get and understand Ayton has issues. Monty not consistent with his criticism of players. I can tell he has favorites and with a young team everyone needs to get the same constructive criticism.

Ivey make the same mistakes Hayes and Cade make but he gets the quick hook, the fans see the bullshyt

Hayes should not be in anyone’s rotation …

The Monte move never made sense because that team wasn’t ready yet to take the leap like Houston was to justify bringing in a vet coach.

The fact that they had to overpay him to motivate to take the job should have told them to steer clear as well.
Houston is not even able to make the leap, they only brought in a vet coach because OKC pretty much going to own their picks if they keep trying to bottom out.

Houston doesn’t have their picks, but they do have the talent to do so which is more than what Detroit has.

It should also be noted that some of those picks are protected in the event that they do bottom out again. They also have the Nets picks as well at their disposal.

Houston was lucky to keep getting in the top 4 the last three years in a row, Honestly they still don't have the franchise player to build around IMO, and the 2024 draft is weak... honestly I see Cooper Flagg in 2025 being the guy he can replace Jabari.
