NFL is a cartel

These racist owners are not going to be swayed by data or public opinion

They’d rather pay 100M is a class action suit than have to answer to peasants.
Funny how when Trump was president he had the nfl owners shook.. threatened to take away the nfl tax status where they don’t pay any federal taxes all because the owners vetoed him from buying the Buffalo bills back in 1999.. Had they let him buy the team that clown wouldn’t even thought of being President

North Jersey but I miss Cali :sadcam:
At the end of the day it comes down to does a old white man trust a black man with in billions.

Most Fortune 500 companies don’t have black CEO’s.

The same thing goes on in college football, the only difference is we have HBCU’s.

which goes back to my point of the importance of HBCU’s rising competitively and financially.

That's funny that the owners even block Trump from owning a NFL team :russ:

The more Tisch & Mara CaCism get exposed, it's clear Jerry Reese as GM was just a token hire for GMEN optics:hhh::mjpls:

Here is one of my random thoughts on this situation, Don't know if it this was mentioned here BUT think about this coach for second:

1. This coach has been a HC for 15 years and has NEVER had a loosing season.
2. This HC has lead his team to SEVEN NFC north titles
3. This HC has had his team in the playoffs 10 of those 15 seasons
4. This HC has two trips to the super bowl
5. This coach has won a super bowl

This coach is the ONLY black HC currently in the NFL and other than Belichick who is the consensus GOAT HC, this coach is the second most successful HC in the last 20 years..

My point is and how it ties into the Flores lawsuit is there is not a "Mike Tomlin coaching tree", you never hear that talked about with the media, fans, or even steeler fans.

Belicheick has been getting coaches hired for the last 17+ years because of his "tree", and one after one they have been unsuccessful and it never stops..

The NFL is a reflection of our real society, you have those in the dominant society who practiced white supremacy and others who claimed they are not racist and some blacks who play dumb right along with them.

The last 48 hours the narrative is already changing with Flores, everyone who he spoke publicly about according to the media they have come back with "scathing" pushback condemning Flores, also Hue Jackson didn't help flores case either. I don't know what the end result is but what I do know is if Flores is offered a job this year he will take it, if nothing is offered then I do not see him getting a job again in the NFL.

FIVE coaches hired already this off season, none of them black. The most respected black former HC Tony Dungy is soft shoeing and walking the line but Flores is on a island by himself unfortunately even though us who are NOT playing dumb can see the BS going on with this league..

They actually discuss this in detail on The Pivot podcast with Hue Jackson.

At least for Reese he put together a good product that got them 2 chips
2 time SB champion GM let go in 2017 not rehired in the NFL since. He has had like 3 interviews since. The NFL is shameless.

What critics use to dismiss Jerry Reese is say Ernie Accorsi built those teams. It's vile.

Funny in all of this, Mara is on the NFL's workplace diversity committee.

He should speak up. The Jets job was wide open and he didn't even put his name out there.
Jerry Reese finally getting interest for second NFL GM stint

"This frustrated Reese, according to sources close to him. He continued to live a quiet life, living outside of Nashville, also spending time on his farm in rural Tennessee. If NFL people wanted him, they knew where to find him. Reese made his interest known to the league office and also to the Fritz Pollard Alliance, a group comprised of coaches, scouts and front office executives committed to promoting diversity and minority hiring in the NFL.
Reese before this current hiring cycle received only one hint of interest, when the Raiders reached out to him two years ago about their general manager opening. Reese did not take an interview for the job, which was not a typically structured role — Jon Gruden as the head coach is signed to a 10-year contract and maintains power over all personnel decisions. The Raiders hired Mike Mayock, the longtime NFL Network draft analyst.
Reese is finally back on the wheel. He spoke to the Jaguars about their general manager opening, The Post confirmed, and the Panthers might bring him in for an interview. His name has surfaced as having attracted interest from the Lions and Falcons. . .
Unlike other executives looking to get back in, Reese never engaged in any media opportunities when they were offered. He is a resolute non-self-promoter. He never had an agent in all his years with the Giants and did not hire one to get his name out there. He never was interested in currying favor with the media and by the end of his tenure barely spoke for public consumption."

The NFL is soooooooooo America.

Only 7% of managerial positions in corporate America have black hires.
