I’m not trying to have a pity party for black men. I think you said “dikk and balls lead”, and I agree. If that wasn’t you then I apologize because to some people that can come off as misogynistic….but real manhood is a rough business and as you alluded to earlier, black men collectively have been failing in that regard. In regards to your question about the essence fest, I think they had easier access to the means(corporate sponsorship) to make it happen because they are great consumers and show up to black women centric events en masse. With that being said, that is not an excuse for black men not putting some type of major event together to showcase to young male adolescents what black manhood should look like.
