Bad movie theater experiences

one time I remember was when the dine in movie theaters were a new thing and people were tying to get the hang of it
I couldn't stand the lights always being on at the bottom and the waiters coming to deliver food and checks every five seconds

Similar story. Took my daughter to see Super Mario, and this family of 8-10 behind us just couldn’t get right. The two babies kept crying, and the young kids were just talking through it all. Them babies crying got me the most heated. I understand kids cry; my daughter was that age at one point, but at some point you need to get your ass up and calm the baby down outside of the movie.
Think of all the money we spend on tickets, concessions only for the movie to be mid as helli realized i havent been to a theater full of people in like 10 years
Heck even if the movie is great, I’m good on the theater now. Let me watch it online

Went to the midnight viewing of The Dark Knight in the IMAX theatre, on the release night. So more expensive tickets, prime seating in the middle, perfect spot.
Some fukking idiot brought their damn baby, which cried through about 2/3rd of the movie.
Why you bring a baby to a theatre at midnight??
There needs to be a timeframe when you can bring a baby/child into an adult film.

I remember seeing Batman Begins on opening night, and a group of kids were on their phones being loud and attention-seeking in the back. Just your run of the mill juvenile shyt disturbers ruining the experience for everyone.
After some "shh"es from the audience, and a few polite "can you keep it down please?" comments, one of them was like "bytch shut the fukk up, we paid to be here just like you so if you have a problem, you leave". Well, that caused an eruption and I believe the son or husband of the woman that comment was directed at got up and threaten to "kick each and every one of your asses" lol!
For about 5 minutes there was yelling and some pushing/shoving and threats exchanged. The lights were still out and it wasn't clear what exactly was going on. Finally an usher came in and that group was escorted out. The entire theatre clapped and cheered, and the group yelled obscenities and ignorance on the way out, throwing their sodas and snacks into the audience.
They ended up rewinding the tape by like 10 minutes and getting through the movie with no distractions after. That was memorable

Like I said go to an Alamo or Alamo like theater.
They will kick out anyone who is loud and obnoxious after one warning and they will get no refund.

A few years ago me and my GF went to see a movie out of town, paid for the tickets in advanced had food seat delivery and when we got there there was some teens on our row In our spot. I was cool with it because we ended up in better seats anyway. The dude came to deliver our food and almost brought it to the teens based off where we were supposed to be sitting and I’m like aht aht that’s mine.
