Forgot what movie I watched but my boy worked in the box office. High school.

Move theater was only 2 people in there. I went to the lobby and ordered a pizza delivery and he brought it to me at my seat. Good time!

Hardest I laughed was at “Get em to the Greek”. 1st date, we had drinks and dinner then more drinks before seeing the movie. That shyt was so funny in the theater I was crying tears. We were grabbing each other laughing. Hotel and smash after. I will never forget that laughter though.

Black Panther in theater was a proud moment.

Pacific Rim in theater took me back to elementary school and made me a kid again.

The end of Get Out was fantastic in theater, the universal groan into a cheer from all the black people.

The 3D in avatar still the best so far.

Another great movie experience was seeing 300 with my family.

I remember we were so hyped up after watching it we wanted to join the army. :russ:

Dark Knight for sure. I wasn't a regular movie goer at the time and I never had gone to a midnight premier so I didn't have any expectations. When we got into the theater the atmosphere was just wild. nikkas dressed up like Joker and shyt. Had me trying to chase that feeling with all the big releases. Only thing that could compare was when I watched Jurassic Park as a kid in the 90s...or when my movie theater showed Purple Rain the day after Prince's death. Seen all the big Marvel joints too.

We were scheduled for the 7am showing of dark knight. That was Friday morning. The Aurora shooting happened at midnight, it was all over the news by then. We stood in my living room like :dwillhuh:

:yeshrug: then went and watched the movie.

Only times I can think of that were interesting was when borat opened in theaters someone dragged me to opening night Friday night 830 maybe a 9pm showing. Full theater, people were laughing and literally laying in the aisles, laughing their ass off. People were laughing so loud you couldn't hear the dialogue. Id never heard of the actor and it's not my humor, I was just watching the experience. Id never seen something like that. People loved it. It was truly an incredible experience to witness.

I told my friend who's a movie buff, he knew who the actor was and had watched Ali and shyt. He was hyped to see it. So we went the next night. Saturday night. Same time, same theater, I might've even sat in the same seats.

I kid you not I thought someone was going to start shooting. People were pissed. Not a single laugh. Not a chuckle, not a giggle. Completely polarizing experience. Even cacs, were like :beli: . Some even walked out.

My boy that I went with who loves movies didn't like it. And when we all got together later (the ones that were with me when people were going apeshyt and the one that was with me when it bombed) they don't believe each others experience.
i mentioned my borat experience in the thread...that character of sacha baron cohen was right up my alley...i was rolling on the floor...ppl were just cracking the hell up..i remember i watched this in the afternoon after i got off work..it was pretty packed..the opposite experience of borat you experienced was similar to when i was watched bruno which was another of sacha baron cohen's characters...that was one of 2 movies i came close to walking out on (the other being the village)..there were other ppl who did walk out on that movie and/or were disgusted by it
