The only way to go back to the other time line are by bombs. It has to be blown to smithereens and an interim government be appointed by the people dropping the bombs, only then can you have regular elections again and let people decide.

Dems mistake was allowing the Republicans to frame the issue. Dems should have shown empathy to migrants instead of trying to out conservative the Republican Party on the issue. The same empathy they should have shown to Palestine.
They should have given the country a real choice. When Republicans appeal to people’s worst instincts, they should have done the opposite. Instead they chose to be diet Republicans.
