The project still not complete y'all always celebrating half measures... when's the estimated completion date then???

They just started construction in the Fall of 2023. You could have looked up an estimated completion date if you actually wanted to know.

Many credited President Joe Biden and his administration’s support for accelerating the project and providing significant aid through the Infrastructure and Investment Jobs Act that he signed in 2021.

In addition to the $6.88 billion grant through the Federal Transit Administration’s Capital Investment Grant program, the program has received $4.8 billion from three other sources, including Amtrak and other grant programs — making the federal share of the project around 70%, greatly reducing what will be owed by local taxpayers in New York and New Jersey.

While construction has already begun and additional bids are expected to be awarded later this year, the new tunnel is are not expected to be completed until 2035, and the renovation of the older tunnel won't be finished until 2038.

shytting on the estimated date is fine, but suggesting that nobody should celebrate when construction projects are given much needed federal funding to continue is silly. It's a big step forward in progress.

That's like saying community centers shouldn't celebrate when they get grants from the city, county or state.

I know this is hard for the HL Centrist/Biden Boyz to understand, but not everyone is a lemming motivated by blind allegiance to political figures, some people follow things like political, moral and rational principles. Some people have no problem criticizing politicians when they're wrong, even if they support them overall.
