I think yall sleep on Haley, she's a legit threat probably a lot closer to a moderate from a republican perspective than typical maga politics. I may favor her over Newsome in the south, I dont think Newsome will connect well with independents

2/GOP voters shouldn't care if he's a conservative, a role model for children, or modest & dignified--I suppose that's a good message because Trump is none of the things quite obviously.

The tone & pacing of the video carries an echo of WWII fascism that makes me feel queasy.

Cac maga once again with the maga talking points. You said nobody holds covid over trump's head when it's the whole reason he lost in 2020. And now Haley was only significant because she wasn't a sitting politician....a statement that literally makes no sense and sounds like something mtg might post to a pro maga fb group. i could only watch about 20 seconds of the video in the tweet that @bnew posted... but it was some dude complaining about a racist statue being pulled down and people kicking and spitting on it... the guy in the video compared that to kicking and spitting on amerikkka.... so he's being open that his idea of amerikkka is the oppression of non-white people and he's offended that someone would have the audacity to be against that.... truly, truly, truly sick people....

An Indian woman is not winning the GOP nomination for president anytime soon. I can’t emphasize how much their whiteness is wrapped into who is the president of the U.S.

A moderate is not winning the nomination either. Republican base will double down and double down. If they lose they’ll blame the candidate for not being sufficiently conservative or they'll accuse the other side of cheating. Ig still hasn’t dawned on them that they are not the majority of this country. They’ll need to make peace with that before they can move on.

They won’t. It’s too painful to them to accept that white conservatives are a growing minority of voters. Their whole identity is wrapped up in being the “Real Americans”. The rest of us are interlopers. Moderating means they are accepting co ownership of this country with communists, socialist, woke mind virus and illegal immigrants as they like to label the rest of us.

I think that why you are hearing a growing cry for authoritarian rule within the GOP.
