Kind of a slow day. Between Donald self sabotaging, JD Vance doing ill advised interview that hurt him, and Harris not taking a day off. It's kind of quiet today with nothing going on...

So y’all think Isreal would stop if the us stop supplying them weapons? Where’s the evidence of this
Here’s the rub.

How much does Israel spend on its military?

In 2022, Israel spent $23.4bn on its military, according to the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI), a research institute focused on conflict and armaments.

This amounts to $2,535 per capita over the 2018-2022 period, making it the world’s second-largest spender on military per capita after Qatar.

In 2022, Israel dedicated 4.5 percent of its gross domestic product (GDP) to the military, the 10th highest percentage in the world.

Which countries buy the most Israeli weapons?

Historically, Israel’s weapons imports have far outweighed its exports. However, during the last decade, exports have begun to consistently eclipse imports, SIPRI data shows.

Don't fall for the Biden administration's okey dokey. They are choosing not to excercise leverage because POTUS is a zionist whose perception of Israel is frozen in time to his early years as a Senator.

Over 70% of Israeli weapon imports are from the US. We have been their most important partner throughout history, including examples such as the assistance Nixon provided them in 73 Yom Kippur War, the Camp David Accords (Peace with Egypt), Peace with Jordan, the Abraham Accords, as well as providing the Iron Dome defense system.

We also give them a defensive edge in the region by providing them with more sophisticated weaponry than we are willing to give most other (if not ANY other) actors in the middle east. The number one reason why Iran is so unwilling to go to war with Israel is because they know the US (and, most likely, it's other Western allies) will join in on the side of Israel.

So, you tell me, do we have any leverage over Israel or nah? :usure:
