this is such a pathetic attempt at a spin from the right
biden saying "i want to run with a woman", or "i promise to name the first black woman to the supreme court", is not 'making them DEI hires'. it's addressing and correcting historical inequalities, by selecting qualified people to do the job, who have not been historically considered to do/get the job
