Yes. Lina Khan doesn’t need to be confirmed as a commissioner of the FTC again. She got confirmed with 69 Senators in 2021 and Biden immediately named her chair.

So yes, POTUS can make one of the other commissioners as chair. But that’s a radioactive move by Kamala if she does that. Many members of the House and Senate support Lina. And I’m not talking progressives but many normie Dems and blue dogs.
