I'm a fan of all things X-Men. I've read many books on different ways they have been portrayed; it's the same with movies and cartoons.
With that being said, I actually enjoyed the flick for what it was. Of course it's not without its flaws, which I'm sure have been pointed out.
I'm a huge Apocalypse fan. I've read a lot of his stuff. I had no problem with how he was portrayed here. There were some issues, but it would be just being picky.
The gathering of the 4 was done well. No problem with who they used and the way they were brought in.
This movie felt like a love letter to all things X-Men if you look deep:
- The Weapon X scene was
-A tribute to Jean Grey becoming Phoenix.
-The tease of how this world could have become the Age of Apocalypse.

Finally saw this film. It was trash.
Just reboot the whole fukking thing please.
-The timeline is fukking stupid. I can't follow this shyt at all
- The emphasis on Mystique is irritating
- Apocalypse was not that impressive
- Inclusion of Phoenix story was poorly done

I didn't have any expectations going in. I didn't care for Apocalypse's look when they revealed it and the trailers didn't really move me. But I ended up enjoying it despite the many
things about it.

Where is Princess Fajita
Me and my girl just watched this. She loved the movie. I thought it was a perfect 7/10 kinda movie. It wasn't bad but it wasn't great. I told my girl if you knew anything about comics or the characters you would rate it lower because of creative liberty used and wasted potential.
