they should've built up to him

sinister should've been the villain in the apocalypse. helps establish cyclops which they continually fail to do. and sinister enable them to tie into deadpool.

during the film apocalypse had no weight at all as a villain. shyt was jokes fam.

Exactly .He should have been in the shadows pulling strings. They could have had Sinister, the Horsemen and Dark Riders. Make Cyclops the focus of the story and even bring in Cable.

This is what happens when you don't have fans of the source material creating these movies.

The buildup of the 80s Apocalypse storyline when he created the 4 horseman was That would have been perfect as a trilogy but not with a bunch of kiddie Xmen
