Why is GenZ quitting jobs and living off their parents seen as “bucking the system”?

Is walking around butt naked in a hovel really the flex people think it is?! Let's be reality, nearly all people's first spots ain't worth the rent being paid let alone bragging about. All of what you spoke on speaks to a deeper dysfunction. We all know a folk or two who moved out and never moved back to their own detriment most of the time.......success stories aren't prevalent like that and they aren't random.......being setup to succeed before doing so guarantees you don't have to take off that false king crown and run back with your tail tucked or worse, refuse to swallow that pride and committing heinous acts.......we all familiar with #rentsdue at this point.......numerous testimonials of people needing to have they own shyt, or couldn't be respectful enough of a shared space to not act up.......them kids only doing what they been allowed to do.....that's a different thread though........FYI that little nikka is fueled by the power of a thousand suns to not end up back under your roof.............ain't no telling what he been doing to make sure that don't happen
Dysfunction or growing up and be a man ? adults sadly these days are infantized and there growth is stunted. And we are seeing the results of that....and my stepson was not under my roof..he cameto Florida with my son and told me he was done with Alabama went to school in Florida and handled his buisness he had employment no children and living life thats what grown people do not lay up under their parents like a pet... get your own place like the generations before you.

So everyone not subscribing to the way other people seeing things is infantilizatuon?! It's easy to throw the blanket one way whether it fits or not when making a point because there is no way that whole generations .....of people all fall under the same category

The system is just a debt trap. I don’t see how they are supposed to afford 1800 rent, a car note and student loans on entry level salaries that have barely budged the last decade?
Right out of the gate no less without having been prepared prior to doing so. People operating off pure emotion feelings and tantrums

It’s social media

It’s people on social media who say credit is better than cash, college is a scam, and black folks are inherently dumb and shouldn’t work important jobs
I’d say the scam aspect is the fact that some are working jobs they could get without a degree. 4 years of full time income they’re missing

I keep hearing people say they won't work shytty jobs but...there are plenty of good jobs available to Americans that can't even get proper responses because people are bullshytting. Don't have a college degree and don't want to work retail/fast food? Learn a fukking trade or get a government job (post office, military, etc). Yet we're at a point where a lot of people, including a LOT of black men, simply will not do jack shyt. This isn't sustainable...I hope people understand this.
What are you talking about bro, completely disingenuous post we are in the worst job market in 10 yrs.
