I keep hearing people say they won't work shytty jobs but...there are plenty of good jobs available to Americans that can't even get proper responses because people are bullshytting. Don't have a college degree and don't want to work retail/fast food? Learn a fukking trade or get a government job (post office, military, etc). Yet we're at a point where a lot of people, including a LOT of black men, simply will not do jack shyt. This isn't sustainable...I hope people understand this.

Sometimes you have to sit back and look at the overall picture. When I was in my 20s, I recall renting apartments for $500-$600. Gen-Z folks are not seeing that and owning a home is another story. That pretty much answers your question why you don't know anyone who owns their spot. Then you have to factor people are not retiring which essentially takes jobs from the youth. Gen-Z is facing an uphill battle previously generations did not encounter. That's why I don't blame them much.

People failed the younger generations, and I believe that to be true because people failed me and my peers

In other countries you stay with ya parents until your damn near married.. I couldn’t do that shyt but my parents never kicked me out as long as I was working or in school. They wouldn’t even want rent since they was making good money just wanted chores done.

I moved out at 28 , ended up graduating college , etc my sis staying home also and she saved so much money + degreed up

Exactly. Lot of people are 100% fine with living online via their phone. If someone can do just enough to pay their phone bill and part of their rent (roommate situation) they're content. For men just replace the phone with videogames, MCU, etc.

My cousin went from working at Burger King to getting his HVAC shyt together and just got his first apartment. There are opportunities out here for people who don't want to go to college, or can't afford it.

I truly understand what you are saying but you cant be a king living in your parents castle . Independence is a powerful thing....laying up in the same room you been in since I been a kid ....can't walk but naked in your on place nah man .parents want their independence as well i here many coworkers can't wait for their grown kids to leave because their children want to party and tear up there house even tho they work I can't do it.even my step son from my first marriage left the house at 18 in 2013 and been on his own since and he loves it no bums allowed

Yah. You are sounding old. Anyone who worked in fast food and retail knows the pay is unstable. One week you work 35 hours and the next week you work 10. I do believe many should do something but I don't blame them not wanting to.
