Sometimes you have to sit back and look at the overall picture. When I was in my 20s, I recall renting apartments for $500-$600. Gen-Z folks are not seeing that and owning a home is another story. That pretty much answers your question why you don't know anyone who owns their spot. Then you have to factor people are not retiring which essentially takes jobs from the youth. Gen-Z is facing an uphill battle previously generations did not encounter. That's why I don't blame them much.

How is that bucking the system tho? All their doing is quitting and leeching off parents.

I truly understand what you are saying but you cant be a king living in your parents castle . Independence is a powerful thing....laying up in the same room you been in since I been a kid ....can't walk but naked in your on place nah man .parents want their independence as well i here many coworkers can't wait for their grown kids to leave because their children want to party and tear up there house even tho they work I can't do it.even my step son from my first marriage left the house at 18 in 2013 and been on his own since and he loves it no bums allowed

Is walking around butt naked in a hovel really the flex people think it is?! Let's be reality, nearly all people's first spots ain't worth the rent being paid let alone bragging about. All of what you spoke on speaks to a deeper dysfunction. We all know a folk or two who moved out and never moved back to their own detriment most of the time.......success stories aren't prevalent like that and they aren't random.......being setup to succeed before doing so guarantees you don't have to take off that false king crown and run back with your tail tucked or worse, refuse to swallow that pride and committing heinous acts.......we all familiar with #rentsdue at this point.......numerous testimonials of people needing to have they own shyt, or couldn't be respectful enough of a shared space to not act up.......them kids only doing what they been allowed to do.....that's a different thread though........FYI that little nikka is fueled by the power of a thousand suns to not end up back under your roof.............ain't no telling what he been doing to make sure that don't happen

Can't be that....... not with the results I have gotten and am still getting........the world as a model backs what I have said time and again.......people can't get out they own fukking way, but hey it's their choice at the end of the day........so if the struggle in the dirt until you do or don't make it is the way the societal pressure will continue to push people, it just makes me teaching and pointing out the glaringly obvious things you shouldn't do stick out even more........
