Why is GenZ quitting jobs and living off their parents seen as “bucking the system”?

Its called being lazy and entitled
To some extent yes but they also know they won't outwork a broken system. They shifted perspective. They don't care bout illustrious careers and feeding into the system so they are infect bucking they system because eventually the system won't be sustainable without enough fresh blood.

So leech off their parents and force their parents to work harder and longer is the answer ?

Another circle jerk thread that conveniently ignores that prices have gone up exponentially while corporations find more and more ways to not pay anyone while raking record profits:mjlol:
So answer the question, how is GenZ bucking the system ?

Yah. You are sounding old. Anyone who worked in fast food and retail knows the pay is unstable. One week you work 35 hours and the next week you work 10. I do believe many should do something but I don't blame them not wanting to.

It’s not about being old

It’s about u as a kid just living under grandparents or under mama roof doing nothing , paying nothing and expect u should be handed anything..

What if mama/ grandparents die,, what u going to do and how u going to live with no life insurance policy and that house not payed off

There's no "right" answer. Boomers didn't set up Millenials or Gen z to succeed in the system. They got the best of it and are poised to retire and leave us debt ladden with no hope of retirement ourselves. No home ownership etc. So when the kids rebell they are doing what is right FOR THEM. Not everyone wants to try to ice skate uphill just because it's the accepted path to success as presented within the system.... To burden themselves with debt then work to death. They'd rather be underachievers and enjoy life NOW.

Can't sell people a broken dream then get mad when they reject it. Work work work work and die. Nope. People are rejecting it and hitting the eject button.

They're not. The system is bucking itself

You're being facetious and your thread is based on a flawed premise. You've shown to not be a serious person so I don't know if it's a troll or not:manny:

This idea of Genz/millennials not working is based on selective reporting and half truths.

This is not the market or economy of 20-30 years ago. The security is not there. Younger generations quit jobs more than older ones, but most of those people are finding other jobs. This is the blind spot and manipulative reporting that's working on nikkas

Yes people are living with their parents more than ever, but that doesn't mean those people are not working. This mass of people living off their parents with no job is some shyt you're you're exaggerating either because you're chronically online and don't know any better, or you're trolling. Or both I don't know:manny:

Why are so many people these days living with their parents? Because they can't afford to live alone. Same reason the birth rate is plummeting
