Roy is the first SG that I've seen Kobe struggle to guard.

dudes love discrediting Carmelo. "Who was better at their peak? Melo or Wally Szcerbiak?" is probably next.

But he still rapes them tho, like every year in the playoffs

2008 for example

29/6/4 53%

thats not the point of the thread though, i quoted somebody who said b roy was the only 2 that kobe struggled to guard which is false when kobe admitted he had the most trouble guarding manu, what does kobe raping the spurs have to do with this argument?

Roy is this generations penny hardaway. Good player? Yes, but because of injuries overrated to a level he does not belong. Does this thread surprise me? Not really, I have had back and forths with people who actually put Penny on Goat lists "Pre-Injury" its going to be the same thing for Roy.

I watched all their match ups. Kobe had more trouble guarding Roy.

:pachaha: THIS DUDE CONSTANTLY HATES ON ROSE,
BUT IS IN HERE STANNING B-ROY,
BECAUSE HE NEVER TOOK PLAYS OFF, AND SHOWED HEART ON THE COURT.

IRONY

I take Rose over Melo too. My main problem with Rose is his shot selection. Its terrible for a point guard. Rose plays more like a 2 than a 1 half of the time.

The one player that Kobe really struggled against was Pierce. I've seen Kobe shut down Wade, T-Mac, Ray Allen, Iverson, Lebron etc. Pierce was the one player Kobe couldn't do anything against. He was too big and strong for him.

The mutha****in BX
neither were franchise-type players.

melo the loser is a better scorer, but plays only one style of basketball.

roy was the better playmaker while being a consistent scorer.

give me roy.
