Cuz he never led the Pels to shyt and he’s injury prone. Those stats hold no weight. Let give Kevin Love a MVP if stats on losing teams is so important

Who was AD’s number 2 on those teams that he didn’t “win shyt with”?:comeon: Jrue Holiday stayed being injured and Eric Gordon didn’t even want to be there. nikka was playing with bums like Etwan Moore and Alexis Ajinca

Even Love played with more talent on his twolves squad

Eric Gordon and Ryan Anderson left the Pels to play with a real top 5 player and all they did was win 60 games and came a half away from the finals. All they could do with AD was make a 8th seed

And as much as I hate to say it Westbrook as well. He can light up a stat sheet, but you aren't winning shyt with any of those guys as your best player.

Jury still out on AD as well. He should have done more with the talent we had, but all he did was get nagging injuries and have to miss time as the guy.

Don't waste your energy with these fools; us guys who actually watched him and his teams saw almost 2 full presidential terms pass by and all Mr. Glass could manage was 1 playoff berth for each... with one ending in a humiliating first round sweep :snoop:. I ain't gonna act like our teams were the best or healthiest in the league, but if you're really the consensus top 5, top 3 player people are crowning you as... then there's point blank no excuse for only 3 rounds of playoff basketball in 7 damn years. Actual top 5 MVP caliber players like LeBron and Harden have done infinitely more with much, much less. AD had the chance to truly establish himself among that crop of players this year.... and he folded and quit at the first sign of difficulty. While the Nuggets claimed the 2nd seed with half their starting rotation out for months and Harden dragged the Rockets all the way from 14th in the standings to a competitive series with the Warriors almost exclusively by himself with CP3, Capela, and others missing weeks at a time. Top 5 talent for sure... top 5 player? Right now, not a chance:francis:

Key word - teams. Championships are a team effort and not individual. It's revisionist history to call the 2014 Spurs a team led by Leonard, and the Raptors of this past year had strong support around him.

Agreed. Kawhi gave them a leg up sure (and no Lebron in the East) but the message of "we fired our COTY and traded our franchise player" IMO sent a wave of "win or die" into the Raps (along with Spicy P and FVV evolving into great players)
