Again if we just stopping all the bullshyt for everybody I am wit it. But we aint bout to make special exceptions for him, especially considering his claim to fame is "beating Mahomes" in the playoffs. Beating Lamars non passing, non clutch ass at the crib shouldnt be a problem then.

On The Coli, that would be Lamar as he gets passes on here that others wouldn’t for being a two time MVP.

He missed out on open opportunities where he could have ran the ball, so he should shoulder the blame for that.

I don’t want to hear “but the KC defense” considering that the Ravens defense was elite all year long and people didn’t want to hear the defense excuse the week before with Allen.

I just think it’s phony that people keep using the WR and coaching aspect as an excuse when they’ve continued to have success even in spite of it all.

If we don’t use it with other teams, then the Ravens shouldn’t be the exception to that.

That’s what we were talking about before other posters started moving the goalpost.

Again I ask the question of why was this thread upped with how both performed yesterday and made major miscues that almost cost their team the game?

Both QBs put up hella performances and should be applauded for it in showing why they're highly thought of as they are, yet hot take culture had to take over once again.

Because Joe not only lost but threw the crucial pick. Lamar woulda caught hell if the Bengals capitalized on his fumble despite, like you said, playing well. Why we acting brand new like you cant play well, put up huge numbers, and get criticized for Ls (see: P. Williams Manning). Especially relevant for Joe since his claim to fame was the result of a special effort by his defense but they wasnt calling it Bengalsdefensehead the next year were they? Man get credit and the blame. It aint fair. It dont always make sense. But if you gonna do it you gotta be consistent.

Burrow is a good QB but he gets alot of passes that other QBs(mainly Lamar) dont get

You can put 3 of their losses squarely on his shoulders

week 1 vs the Pat - they are down 16-10 Burrow gets the ball back with 3 mins left and goes 3 & out. They punt,Pats run out the last min and change and win

Week 2 vs the Chiefs - Pat throws a pick,Burrow gets the ball back up 22-17 in the 4th quarter. He fumbles,Chiefs return the fumble for a TD and give the Chiefs the lead. Bengals lose

Yesterday vs the Ravens - Burrow has the ball up 3 with 2 mins left in the game and they’re already in FG range. A TD ices the game,a FG makes Baltimore need a TD to win.Burrow throws a pick.Bengals lose

They could easily be 4-1 if Burrow played better in crunch time

Lamar would’ve gotten killed for any of those 3 Ls but for Burrow I guess its the defense fault
