Bunch of rambling this thread is funny the same way cacs hate Lamar Jackson the idiots on the thread hate Burrow

Never said he was a bad QB, but he gets passes no other QB gets. People were saying he's better than Mahomes or at worst the second best QB.

He is CLEARLY not as good as Mahomes, Lamar, or Allen.

The last sentence clearly shows why he’s underrated on here anyone saying Burrow is not the level of those 3 shouldn’t have an opinion

Lamar has elevated over the last two years and put some distance between himself and Burrow and Allen. But he didn't always have that separation...

Burrow and Allen are the 3 and 4 at quarterback, whatever order...

Don't even know how to take serious this discussion. I can see the Bengals getting hot and coming out the AFC. And if they do, Burrow won't get any credit anyways. All we'll hear is that he has Chase and Higgins

Exactly the narratives are already built, yea dud gets a lot of praise but there’s a large section that hates him too

Right because thats all we heard after the SB from 3 years ago. He got no credit. To this day people keep going on and on about how Chase and Higgins beat Mahomes. :comeon:

Folks gonna act like he won a SB and overcame some great obstacle and all these haters if they just make the playoffs...as if thats not par for the course for a franchise QB.

For me it's

Mahomes
Allen Lamar
Burrow Herbert
Stroud Love Purdy

I still think Hebert is capable of 5K, 50+ TD type of seasons with the right supporting cast. He doesn't have the playmaking capabilities of the Top 3 but for me, he's the best pure thrower of the ball in the League.

Which I always find rather hypocritical as posters will always gripe and bytch about how Lamar needs more weapons, but use same said weapons against Burrows.

I can't even agree with this honestly.

January still haunts him more than the others.

I don't have an issue with that. He's at the point he's gotta start winning in The Tournament...

I'm a Burrow supporter, but I don't have two consecutive healthy years of elite play to keep him over Lamar right now. And it wasn't that long that we had two straight injured years of Lamar...

I don't have one MVP year to point to for Burrow, much less two. 3 weeks ago they played each other blow for blow but Burrow had multiple 10-point leads in the 4th and lost that game. And honestly the sharpest throws in that game came from Lamar...

He's still performed more consistently in the playoffs than Lamar, and I value that greatly. But I think for me Lamar has creeped a step ahead of him...

Like Burrow, Allen doesn't have multiple MVP-level years in a row, and like Lamar he's got some playoff chokes. Burrow walking into Buff two years ago and completely out playing him is unforgivable. So Lamar has crept ahead of Allen, too...

It's not a wide margin fir Lamar over these guys. But he's currently hit a peak performance those other two haven't reached yet, and if he ever puts together a playoff run at this level, winning a title, there will be some warranted Lamar over Mahomes consideration. He's that high right now, his decimation of everyone weekly is starting to teeter into All-Time levels of peak play...

But he's never done it in January so I agree with that and understand if until he does, people keep him lower...

Health is the asterisk that knocks Burrow.

Burrow outplaying Allen doesn't really do much to separate Lamar from him, to me. Any one of those top 4 guys can outplay one another any given day...except Lamar in the playoffs.

The 23 MVP was a case of "we refuse to acknowledge a non-QB". Granted we can't take away the trophy but that season on its own merit wasn't a separation season.
