I'm not understanding why a few people keep saying Darnold.. he wasn't expected to do much.. he was a bridge for McCarthy.. if they lose I feel like its :manny: Goff has more pressure than he does .. Detroit's expectations are way higher

That Detroit game last week was huge and he played bad. If he has another bad game with everything on the line, then serious contenders may not want to pay him serious money

1.Lamar by a mile .

2. Darnold . He’s playing for his career . Vikings don’t even have to win. If he puts up numbers he’s secured a big bag for himself but if he flames out he’s back to the old Sam Darnold everyone believes he is. The Detroit game was strike one. Another one of those and he’s done

3. Allen. It’s time for him to win but if he loses to Lamar or Pat nobody gonna be on him like that..keep it a stack

4. Hurts. People are already whispering about him not being that guy. He can’t give ppl more reason to second guess him

5. Love . Same thing that applies to Hurts applies to Love . Only difference is that GB isn’t really expected to make a run..but ppl think that he’s a big reason for that.

—-everyone below them is under little pressure

Nobody expects the Chargers to do anything

Goff is bulletproof in Detroit right now ..that boy is damn near god status

Baker already got his deal

Russ did what he had to do to show he’s not completely done

Stafford might be close to cooked but he got his ring and nobody cares about the rams

Rest are rookies,young or Pat

Lamar didn't play well but he looked OK against KC. His receivers had a few critical mistakes. The bigger choke was against Tennessee in the 1st MVP season. He put up garbage time stats when the game was out of reach but did nothing in the 1st half.
Lamar bytched out on the first drive by sliding on.second down, then incomplete on third. OBJ was open all game. The boneheaded pick into teiple coverage. He was awful.

There’s zero pressure on Darnold

Nobody outside of Minnesota think they going to beat Detroit or Philly… hell that might lose to stafford

Allen will always get a pass because he might throw for 330 yards and give u 3 TD against the chiefs but the media would say hey it’s mahomes and reid BS again

But outside of Lamar i said in my previous post

Goeff needs to get to the superbowl with home field advantage
I wouldn’t say there’s ZERO pressure on Darnold. Sure he might’ve made himself some money, but the difference could be tens of millions of dollars. He plays well, Minnesota might retain him as their guy and trade JJ. He stinks it up, and Minnesota will probably either keep him on a team friendly short term deal until JJ takes over, or they let him walk and another team pays him significantly less money than he would’ve made had he played great.

He can afford to lose to KC, or come up short in the Super Bowl. He absolutely CANNOT be Playoff Lamar anymore, he's GOT to be Regular Season Lamar in the playoffs, even in a loss.
Why can he afford to lose? He's 2-4 in the playoffs and has his worst games of the season in the playoffs

What the fukk?

He looked OK?

This is ridiculous. He put up 10 points and was afraid to run, take control of the offense, and throw on time to his receivers. Don't forget the forced pick in the endzone.

The excuses yall make for Lamar make me sick.

It really is insane!! All the excuses, then the fabricated bs about the media being against him, while parading around those same awards the media voted on to state his superiority

I mean Zay Flowers literally fumbled on the 1 inch line otherwise they’d have put up 17 with a chance to win the game last year.

I mean Lamar didn’t just “not have elite weapons”, he had the worst weapons of any playoff team for a few years

Sure, but Lamar still put up some of his worst career performances when the lights were brightest. One might even venture that, comparative to skills & potential to influence the game with his performance, he was one of the worst players on the field in a number of those games. Mewling about his WRs etc does not take away from his need to shed the 'Playoff Lamar' tag worse than any of the other QBs due to the fact that he has been pretty awful on a regular basis in the playoffs.

For someone with such confidence in his opinions, it's amazing how few people agree with your takes. This should should be telling you to at least have an open mind to consider your own opinion. When one of the people agreeing with you is Roger fukking King then you should be seeing flashing warning signs in your head. Whilst you don't seem retarded, maybe a little combative, that guy has clearly been starved of oxygen for a significant period at some point.

Might be a hot take but Idk if Hurts feels a lot of pressure. I think he's rated right around where he should be. Like people get that he isn't in that elite elite range but just outside and is still a very good qb. If I'm a Philly fan (gross) I'd take that.

Hurts also already has played well in the playoffs before (the SB run) and in the big games.

Lamar and it's not close. Multiple mvps with no super bowl appearance is wild.

let’s get this straight, as far as fan banter and media noise it’s Lamar and Allen as I posted before but there’s no real consequences for them outside of that. They aren’t going anywhere and both are young and will have many chances to remedy whatever narratives people what to go with about them.

Darnold is the only here playing for a check, which could be a generational amount. Russ is playing for a check and a place to ride out the rest of his career as well.

The reality of the situation is that you really can’t have that much pressure on you if there’s nothing that’s going to change or happen to you win or lose. People get so caught up in noise it’s crazy and you got cats saying dudes playing for their money don’t have pressure on em, lol wtf

It’s Lamar by a mile.

Can’t keep stacking accolades while flaming out when it matters and not expect everyone to be on his neck. Sorta reminiscent of Peyton before getting one.

Ravens completely abandoned the run last year vs. Chiefs, yes, but his refusal to use his legs in pivotal spots completely changed the flow of the game in Chiefs favor.

It was so baffling I still remember posting this last year lol:

Lamar needed to tap into the Mike Vick experience a number of times today, game woulda flowed way different.

You could almost see him fight against his first instinct on a few plays. :snoop:

Ravens fixed their biggest weakness in a massive way with Henry. Lamar gotta come through.

Hurts is 2nd.

Josh is overachieving compared to what everyone expected. He’ll get a pass. I’d probably argue Goff has more pressure than Josh this year.

Oh my lord, THATS THE FUKN POINT! lol. Lamar’s main targets were the likes of Snead, Aghalor, or a washed OBJ and he was winning with some of the worst options on the outside of any contender

Like…. Your making my point

:mjlol:
Exactly, lamar has been working under this exact same scenario and there was no excuse for him at all, he was the unanimous mvp with a mediocre receiving core and expected to perform now allen is getting every pass in town, ignore clowns like @Thavoiceofthevoiceless their only role is to make every and any excuse for white qbs its a consistent theme and pattern, check previous posts as well, the media has glazed allen at every turn, changed playoff rules for him, at some point he has to perform or get to the superbowl, enough of the nonsense
